Not sure what he has left in the tank but im excited. Wonder if Woodson will let him wear #24. It's unofficially retired. He's going to keep the linebackers honest.

Supposedly the Raiders have a lot of interest in Mixon as well.

Not sure when but Marshawn Lynch said that.

#24 would be cool for Lynch. Seeing as how Woodson wore #21 in his best seasons, he should be cool with Marshawn using #24.

But I'm just here so I don't get fined! So...

Today's going to be a bloodbath at ESPN. A lot of recognizable names are going to get fired. There's no doubt a number of people who have renegotiated or signed new contracts for significantly less money that would have been fired as well.

Not much compensation going to the Seahawks for Lynch. Seahawks get the Raiders 2018 5th round pick while the Raiders get Lynch and the Seahawks 2018 6th round pick.

.
The problem with drafting Collins in the 5th was his agent told teams don't draft him in Day 3 because he wont sign and will re-enter the draft next year.

Oh yes it is. Hockey staff got hit hard. I saw a list earlier and seems like no department was spared.

ESPN always talks about the NBA. The NHL, on the other hand, is neglected.

So, the latest rumors coming out of the Cleveland sports media are that the Browns front office is strongly considering taking Trubisky at #1 overall even though head coach Hue Jackson (aka, the QB guru) isn't sold on Trubisky at all (let alone at #1 overall).

Urgh, if the Browns end up taking Trubisky at #1 (over Garrett, Adams, Hooker, etc.), this will be the final straw that makes me stop being a fan of the Browns (after close to twenty years of general sh*tt*ness).

Even if the Browns take Garrett #1, then trade up to take Trubisky before #12, I'll still be pissed. Trubisky shouldn't be the first qb off the board - Watson should. And, Trubisky definitely shouldn't be taken (at #12, or #5, or #6, etc.) if players like OJ Howard, Malik Hooker, and Mike Williams are still on the board.

My thing with Trubisky is if he's good enough to potentially be the #1 pick how did he sit at North Carolina for three years behind Marquisse Williams, who was average at best? Did the coaches not give him a fair chance at unseating the starter? It's not like Williams' first 2 seasons were overly successful, winning 7 and 6 games before his final year where the team won 11 games.

I think Trubisky will be a bust. Watson is probably the best QB in the draft.

Cleveland would be foolish to take Trubisky over Garrett.

I'm sure they do. Never cared about the NBA though. Love me some hockey. Literally the coolest game on Earth.

Edit: Looks like Trent Dilfer got the axe!

In Williams' final 2 years at UNC he passed for a total of 6140 yards, threw 45 TDs vs 19 INTs with a 62% completion %, and ran for another 26 TDs. His senior year, he got them to the ACC Championship Game too. I think he was a bit better than an "average" college QB. Trubisky had good #s in the limited snaps he got during his sophomore year but Williams got the nod.

That said, I don't want the Browns taking Trubisky with the #1 or even the #12 when they can address some defensive needs with those picks. But that's just me.
