Trade is official. Oakland trades 2018 5th Rounder to Seattle for the rights to Marshawn Lynch and a 2018 6th Round pick. Lynch to sign an incentive heavy deal starting at $2m a year

NFL Draft Eve. The NFL Draft is basically a holiday for me but with the Rams being without a first round pick, can't say I'm all the excited for it.

Excited to see Marshawn Lynch play again. My favorite player this decade.

He left the Raiders facility today wearing a Raiders helmet that he put on earlier when signing his contract. It never came off. This will be interesting no doubt

Urgh, if the Browns end up taking Trubisky at #1 (over Garrett, Adams, Hooker, etc.), this will be the final straw that makes me stop being a fan of the Browns (after close to twenty years of general sh*tt*ness).

Even if the Browns take Garrett #1, then trade up to take Trubisky before #12, I'll still be pissed. Trubisky shouldn't be the first qb off the board - Watson should. And, Trubisky definitely shouldn't be taken (at #12, or #5, or #6, etc.) if players like OJ Howard, Malik Hooker, and Mike Williams are still on the board.

People need to stop listening to sports 'experts' that say Cleveland needs to get a QB early in the draft. These qbs have no consensus as being a a real number one QB in this draft.

Also, I think it's more Haslam insisting on drafting a QB, and he likes Trubisky. I hope he remembers the last time he insisted on a QB and how he was a spectacular bust.

I think between Kesslar and Osweilar, they can manage at that position this season and see what happens with them and who will be in next year's draft. Who knows maybe Osweilar's issue was just being on a Houston team coached by O'Brien.

I've said this times before and I'll continue to say it. Cleveland needs Garrett at #1 and then another stud defensive player at #12. Don't you dare screw this up and try to get fancy. QB can come later in the draft (or you know, use Kessler who showed some poise).

Unfortunate for the people laid off, but ESPN is terrible.

Gonna watch some of the draft on NFLN.

I told the wife she has to take our oldest son to baseball practice tonight, and I will be putting his younger brother to bed early!
Bad parenting? I call it being a fan!

Glad I'm not the only one putting the kids to bed early tonight.

You two are nuts, I wouldn't let something like the NFL draft determine when I put my kids to bed. Short gym session tonight so barring trades I should be home in time to see who we pick.

I think the Browns should trade for Jimmy G but definitely not for #1 overall. I'd only give the Pats #12 and that's only because they're in such bad shape.

And the Pats have no interest in that trade. The Browns have inquired about Garoppolo and the Pats won't even discuss a trade, so the only way a trade could happen is if the Browns made such a big offer the Pats would have to accept, and that would have to include either the #1 overall pick or multiple first round picks. The way the Pats have acted this offseason by using multiple draft picks on experienced players (Brandin Cooks, Kony Ealy, Dwayne Allen, Mike Gillislee) shows they're in win now mode, and they're going to keep Garoppolo as insurance in case Brady gets hurt.

The Browns don't need Jimmy G.

My daughter will be spending the night tonight at Grandma's. My son will be going to bed his usual time around 7.

Just need to get out of Pittsburgh at a reasonable time and hope that rush hour traffic is light. I think the Penguins are playing tonight but not sure if that's here in town or not - at least the Pirates are off today.
