you can't expect to build a super bowl team by replacing veterans with rookies.

yeah, draft players you need, but if you're going to let veterans walk, bring someone in that can play right away, not 2-3 years down the road.

Thompson is wasting Rodgers' talent at this point in his career.

Really like the Niners picks. They landed Thomas and Foster. Both were rated as being among the top dozen players in the draft.

Without a doubt, I think SF had the best day.

Yeah, Niners killed it and got a solid haul to only move back one spot.

Browns had a very good draft. I'm still iffy on their QB situation though. Apparently they wanted Mahomes and got leapfrogged by KC.

Grade wise I'd say...

Biggest winners: Browns, 49'ers, Redskins, Cowboys, Colts, Bills, Jets, Bucs
Biggest losers: Bears, Texans, Chiefs, Titans
Biggest who the hell knows: Raiders - All depends on whether or not Conley gets charged or walks.

CLE and TB killed it and SF fleeced CHI BIG TIME. PIT's pick was questionable.

As for the NYJ, nice addition, but they always go defense and how has that worked out? That being said, Pryor is on notice.

Yeah but Kirk and jimmy G should be available next year so 1 year and they could be contenders. Plus if Gordon comes back. That team gonna be NICE.

Why Pryor?
And Pittsburgh got a nice player, I think he'll be good.

He's only 26. Has a weed problem and makes mistakes but this is the age he could turn it around. I think browns have to think that because why wouldn't they just cut him. I'll take him in New England.

The plan was to trade down.

The idiotic Bears ruined our plan and we were forced to pick. WR is such a huge need that we obviously felt the need to reach a bit. And it turns out, Davis at 5 was hardly a reach. Williams went at 7 and Ross at 9. 0% chance Davis would've been around at #18.

I have maintained for months that Davis is the best WR in the draft, so I can't complain.

We got the #1 WR in the draft and an interesting CB prospect with some serious playmaking abilities.

WR and CB were our two biggest needs and they were addressed appropriately, I suppose.

How exactly are we losers? Bears are obviously the idiots of the draft. Texans and Chiefs make sense to be losers since they gave up a bunch to move up.

Although I think in the Texans case, it was worth the risk. Didn't understand Mahomes at all.

We stayed put and took the #1 WR and a top 5 CB prospect who will be returning kicks and may get some touches on offense. How is that losing? They could bust and in that instance it would be losing, but you can only really say the Bears are losers right now.

Raiders are dumb for taking that risk this early too IMO. It'll probably pass and he'll avoid charges, but still... pretty iffy.

I really loved our moves last night. We got a lot of value for trading out of #10, and took Tre'Davious White at #27. He's a good fit for McDermott's defense and a high character guy.
