Today is Eddie Lacy's first weigh-in with the Seahawks. He gets $55,000 if he's at 255 pounds or under. He reportedly weighed 267 pounds when he visited the Seahawks in March.

Edit: Lacy's agent said he weighed in at 253.

Beth Mowins, Rex Ryan to call Week 1 Monday Night game on ESPN

ESPN is set to assign play-by-play broadcaster Beth Mowins and the newly hired Rex Ryan to call the late game of its Monday Night Football doubleheader in Week One.

The pairing hasn’t been officially announced, but Richard Deitsch of Sports Illustrated reports that that’s ESPN’s plan. Mowins and Ryan have worked together once before, calling Florida State’s spring game.

Mowins has many years of experience calling college football and has also served as the Raiders’ preseason broadcaster. She will be the first woman to do play-by-play on an NFL regular-season game since Gayle Sierens worked for NBC in 1987. Ryan joined ESPN this year, after he was fired as the head coach of the Bills.

The Chargers will meet the Broncos in the late Monday Night Football game on September 11.
Yes!!!! Make Ryan a full time instead of Gruden

Gruden is ESPN's highest-paid on-air employee and has a contract through 2021. The only way he's going anywhere is if he decides to return to coaching.

Antonio Cromartie impregnated his wife yet again despite having a vasectomy 2 babies ago. We need to get a sample of him in case Children of Men ever becomes a reality.

This is #14 in case anyone lost count. At least he keeps his streak alive of 6 straight kids with the same woman. He was already asking his team for up front salary payments years ago so he could pay child support. This guy will be broke within a year or two of retirement.

If ryan is ok how bout a 3 man MNF booth just like the old days.

Especially since SNF gets the "A" games now & MNF the "B" games they could use some extra spice - gruden/ryan would be fun.

Think ryan would be better in booth too than in the sunday studio which is the current plan.

I'm just glad that son of b..... is out of the east. Annoying as crap. For a guy with a 61-66 record you would think he won 5 Super Bowls with the way he acts.

I know he's the only guy who probably has jerseys, game balls and photos of that game. It's like Al bundy and his 4 touchdowns in a single game. It'll become his epic story on commentary "well the way I beat the patriots at their home was blah blah blah....". It'll be like madden and his immaculate reception that he referenced all the time. Can we start a FIRE Rex ryan now campaign. Haha

Can't believe Gisele was stupid enough to bring that up. Just causing more problems for her husband. Odds are nothing comes out of it and Brady just says he never had a concussion and Giselle isn't qualified to make that judgement, but it's still an issue that he'll have to answer to when he'd prefer to stay under the radar for the offseason.
