It's honestly too early to tell.. Carr hasn't been playing long to make that bold of a statement. But look at everything Stafford has done, statistically. He's the best QB Detroit has had in decades. I'm not even much of a fan of Stafford, but I'm not surprised he's about to become the #1 highest paid player.

It doesn't matter if Stafford is as good as Carr. The Lions either have to pay him or start looking for a new QB. I strongly suspect they will pay him. A lot.

My beloved Miami Dolphins will probably just be average again but I still can't wait for football to be back. I'd rather be agonizing over a boneheaded play than not have football at all.

I am hoping WR Mike Williams-Chargers and QB Deshaun Watson-Texans work out well in the NFL. I am a Clemson fan and always follow their players in the NFL. I will probably have them on my bench in fantasy just in case.

It gives me some needed time to emotionally recharge and catch up on my shows so it's not all bad.

I feel the exact same way although not for the same reasons.

I was totally disenchanted not only by my garbage team but also by the league and the way it ran last season. For the first time in my 35+ years of fandom, I was actually ready for a break. Since his reign of terror began, Baddell has slowly but steadily peeled away layer by layer of my utter love of NFL football and it's a damn shame. I don't feel the same way about football that I once felt.

I agree it's likely to help the Redskins out. I was just saying it's not entirely guaranteed based strictly on this ruling.

Saints DT Nick Fairley is out for the 2017 season due to a heart condition and his career may be over.

It's very hard to rank NFL positions with their being so radically different. That being said I think the top-10 are largely right, even if it's not the same order I'd put them in.
