Nothing wrong with being a homer, Wolvie.

Report: NFL teams to haul in $55 million each due to Rams, Chargers, Raiders relocating

“The 29 NFL teams that are staying put will each receive a gross sum of $55.2 million over a period of up to 11 years from the relocation fees associated with the Rams‘ and the Chargers‘ moves to Los Angeles and the Raiders‘ move to Las Vegas, sources with knowledge of the numbers told ESPN,” via Darren Rovell.

The Chargers and Rams owe $645 million each and will pay out that amount over the course of 10 years, Rovell reports. The Raiders owe $378 million, which will also be paid out to the rest of the 31 NFL teams over the course of 10 years, starting in the year they move (presumably 2020).

This is pretty good stuff:

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...-cowboys-fans/

DeAngelo Williams riles Cowboys fans

“The Cowboys, they win,” Williams said. “They just, they don’t ever show up during the playoffs, though. Like, they always disappear in the playoffs. I got a great depiction of the Cowboys fan base during the regular season last year, they were on cloud nine. You couldn’t tell them anything — anything — because they were going to win the [championship]. That’s all they said, like, fans just got extremely super annoying, and then the minute they lose, they either got cheated, somebody was hurt, like the excuses start flowing.

“It’s just amazing to me, just that fan base, just in general, they can’t handle defeat. I mean, still to this day, they say the Dez Bryant catch against the Green Bay Packers [in January 2015] was a catch.”

He's a funny guy, and a highly valuable handoff as we saw in Pittsburgh. I'm a bit amazed he's still a free agent.

Whaaaaaaa????
I thought you said you ran a Cowboys fan page. Short of opinion, what exactly constitutes a "homer" these days?

Im a cowboys fan (duh) but a realistic cowboys fan -- said all yr long they would lose last yr due to the defense & thats exactly what happened.

This yr will be rough too:
teams now know dak
brutal sched
defense still sux

2 yrs ago i was glad when they tanked the season -- it worked we got zeke with the #4 pick due to that.

Maybe cause i bet$$ alot & follow the vegas guys so i just dont see things thru rose colored glasses all the time.

They already had a target on their backs from last year, but Dak's not helping himself with statements like this:

Dak Prescott: “We’re the Cowboys, we’re gonna win the NFC East”

Fair enough, but why invite any extra locker room fodder for the teams in your division that regardless of who wins it in the end, always plays you tough twice a year?

This is gonna be an interesting year as a NYJ fan. While I don't think that they're on the way to 0-16 nor will even be the worst team in the league, I have set the bar extremely low as far as expectations go. Funny thing is, historically, that's when this miserable franchise plays their best...when their backs are up against the wall. So it will be interesting to see what they do with a very young roster mixed with some cagey veterans aiming for perhaps their last big contract.

I agree. Giants, on paper, have the best QB, Defense and receiving corps. Barring significant injury/suspensions they should win it.

The Giants will do what they always do, underachieve.

Cowboys win the division.

I still think Dallas takes the division, but both teams make the playoffs. Just hope Philly can stay in the hunt.

Dak is the best QB in the division, I am still enough of a homer to take him over Kirk, Carson and Elisha.

Best QB would be laughable if it wasn't such a common belief.

Eli is pretty easily in the top 5 worst "great QBs" in the history of the NFL.

Sub-60% pass completions, more than 1 interception/game average, and 21st amongst active QBs(1500+ passes) in QB rating.

In fact I would rate him as the worst QB in the NFC East, not best. I'd pick Cousins, Wentz, or Dak over him without much hesitation. EDIT:Admittedly part of why I would do so is age, as durable as Eli has been he's getting up there.
