A source with knowledge of the situation told Profootballtalk.com that "internal disagreement exists" within the Redskins' organization "regarding (Kirk) Cousins' actual value."
"Internal disagreement" has existed in Washington's front office regarding Cousins' value for several years, and the leaks are coming out now with just days left before the deadline for teams to sign franchise-tagged players long term. Per Bleacher Report's Jason Cole, ex-Redskins GM Scot McCloughan "wanted to give Cousins a contract extension before 2015," but the "front office declined." The "front office" was/is Dan Snyder and Bruce Allen, who have messed this up from the get go and appear to be in no rush for a resolution.

I don't recollect but it might be the best division in the NFL so I wouldn't be surprised.

Ummmm. I'm not sure about that I mean the afc west is pretty great and NFC south is building something nice. It's hard for me to say that's the best division when no one from it has won a playoff game in 5 years!

A lot of those were a LONG time ago.

12 championships in 40 years. A combined 1 playoff win in 5 years! No way they are the best division.

I don't see Washington doing better than 8-8. Rest seem fine, Dallas slightly optimistic.

Yep 82 yrs ago the 1935 western division:

lions 7-3-2
pack 8-4
bears 6-4-2
cards 6-4-2

So im thinking hes bucking the odds.

Lol! Very tough to have a complete division winning record in today's NFL. Not to mention the NFC East, as a whole, has a pretty rough SOS.

Who knows if anything will come of this since there's few details, but it's still not a great look when the league is investigating Zeke:

Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott was involved in a late-night incident at a Dallas bar Sunday, a source confirmed to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

A Dallas Police spokesperson said no arrests have been reported in connection with the incident. 105.3 FM The Fan in Dallas first reported Elliott's involvement.

Barring a massive overhaul of his decision making, Zeke might not be around that long.

Here's a simple question for all these young atheletes: Can you give up the hard partying for, say, 5 years if it meant making millions?

A lot of it has to do with how they're raised and how well they can handle the fame and celebrity. At this point I think they need to give Zeke the Pacman Jones treatment but who knows if they even want to.
