And I definitely did say he is a headcase... there were multiple posts. I can't believe you actually spent all that time and went all the way back to find that though. Lol

And you were wrong standing by everything you said there. Todd Gurley was never in Zeke's class in college and isn't now.

Well I don't recall you saying he was a headcase which I personally don't think he is. Does he do some not so wise things and put himself in some bad spots? Yeah for sure but a headcase in sports to me is someone that distracts the team on and off the field. I've not seen that yet from him. I also feel like until these situations are proven then to me all of this is speculation. The DV case was never proven, no arrests. This situation not proven no arrests.

Who didn't think Zeke was going to bring off field baggage with him? Lol, everyone knew is.
What probably would've shocked everyone, and certainly nobody here went out on a limb to predict this: he would be a Peyton Manning-esque film room/playbook junkie that never got in trouble.

Nope, that would be his new BFF and teammate Rayne Dakota Prescott.

Wait, you mean the guy with the DUI?
For your sake, better hope that dude has the right people in his ear. Or else he could easily turn into a team leader....like Hardy.

We'll wait and see but it certainly feels like we've found our QB of the next 10-15 years in Prescott.

Probably both, but moreso the latter. Hard to blame him, even if the Skins apparently want to.

I like Cousins in Washington, but I don't blame him one bit for wanting to leave.

Washington has one of the worst front offices in the league, Cousins will be somewhere else next year. Minnesota would be a good fit.

If he's anywhere but San Francisco next year, I'd be surprised. Especially if SF ends up with a reasonably high pick in next year's draft, could see Washington trading Cousins and maybe some low-rounders to trade spots with them and draft a new QB. But honestly, I don't really know what to expect from the Niners this year.

Nobody is going to have to trade for Cousins because it will most likely be too costly for the Redskins to franchise him again. If the Redskins franchise him a third time he's due 144% of his cap number this year, which would mean his 2018 salary would be over $34 million. That's likely too much for the Redskins to commit to one player. The Redskins could use the transition tag on Cousins for $28.78 million, but that only gives the Redskins the right to match any offer Cousins receives and a team with a ton of cap space like the 49ers could offer Cousins a front-loaded deal with a huge first year cap number that would be almost impossible for the Redskins to match.

Rumor is that Gettleman wanted to release Thomas Davis because he wanted an extension and was unwilling to negotiate a new contract with Greg Olsen who feels he's outplayed his current deal. Both of these guys are two of Jerry Richardson's favorite people (not just favorite players). Add that to the fact he pissed off a lot of other Panther fan favorites with his attitude when he released them. ie. Steve Smith found out he was released from a radio station.

If they give Olsen a new deal they're morons. He's got 2 years left on his current deal and will be 34 when the deal is up. It's almost certain he'll be on the decline by that point. Olsen is certainly underpaid but successful teams aren't in the business of giving out new contracts to players over 30 with multiple years left on their current deal.

Gridiron Heroes

(Verse)

Hail the colors Blue and Silver let them wave.
Sing their song and cheer the Gridiron Heroes brave,
Fighting for fame, winning the game,
Dashing to victory as they go.

(Chorus)

Forward down the field,
A charging team that will not yield.
And when the Blue and Silver wave,
Stand and cheer the brave.
Rah, Rah, Rah.
Go hard, win the game.
With honor you will keep your fame.
Down the field and gain,
A Lion victory!

GOOOOOOOOOOO LIONS!
