Going to the Jets is not what I'd call lucky although they are terrible enough that he could be a starting receiver.

No Cowboys fan is going to care, as Lucky Whitehead really wasn't a good player anyway. The news before this even occurred is he was highly unlikely to make the team.

My opinion hasn't changed, which is that the Cowboys were already due a regression due to how pathetically easy their schedule last year was and how that was unlikely to repeat. I don't think Lucky Whitehead and the Cowboys actions/inactions will have anything to do with it.

Wait till another player messes up or domestic violence happens. Then this story will be everywhere how can you keep this player but cut a wrongly accused man?

Here's the thing, if Lucky HAD committed the crime...not only would he still be with Dallas, he would be a team leader.

Sure, but that's because it's the Cowboys, and not because it's a player getting cut for a crime he didn't commit.

Because no player _ever_ gets cut for a crime unless he's of marginal talent/on the decline, or is something like Aaron Hernandez and the team really doesn't have a choice, and that applies to all teams. The fact that people are making fun of the Cowboys for being "inconsistent" is incredibly worthy.
