They showed the same trends in the pre season, getting beat in big plays and deep passes and they didn't even play with all startes back then, this is on Patricia 100%

I mean the D only really fell off in the 4th quarter. But the blowin cover in the fourth was because Hightower was out. Plus he is good at stopping the run which was there entire last scoring play. Plus once Danny went down that hurt them. I think all of his is fixable stuff.

But not taking anything away from the chiefs this is a great team. They have always been good they might have finally made that leap.

Losing berry will hurt. Hoping for the best.

I don't know If the chiefs are really good, I need to see more games to make a conclusion. this game reminds me a lot of that Philadelphia game in foxboro in 2015.

Might be right it did seem like they stopped calling holding after awhile. Guess you can't call it on every play. Plus Gronk was held almost the entire game.

Bottom line is that KC came to play. They had a fantastic mix of misdirection on offense to keep the NE defense off balance, Hunt was mercurial and Smith was dropping dimes. Not only that, but the KC defense was hitting hard...their shot were crisp, energetic and they were wrapping up on tackles minimizing additional yards after contact. Andy had those guys ready to play and called the perfect game.

Pats OL did great against KCs front only at the very end when the game was already over they crumbled and KC was able to sack Brady a few times. Pats D is a real concern tho, it's going to be a long year.

KC has been a very, very solid team for the last few years, so their gameplay last night is not shocking to me.. I didn't expect them to get blown out. They have a stingy defense, a great TE, and a young RB that has a lot of potential (hate that he went to Toledo, though...). Tyreek Hill can absolutely ball out. Alex Smith is a fantastic QB who is finally seeing success after the SF shitshow.

But my Week 1 fantasy so far sucks in all the leagues I am in as I had a combination of Brady, Gronk, KC Def, NE Def, and in one league I let Gillislee sit on the bench.

I made the mistake of starting Burkhead in one league and Hogan in another.

Loved that game last night and I'm glad the undefeated talk is already out the window. Too bad the Patriots basically get a free pass into the playoffs. The Jets and Bills are barely fielding pro level teams and the Dolphins are probably no threat.
