They are just getting started and they are better off continuing to lose this year to get a high pick and a QB.
Coming from a NYJ fan, I couldn't agree more. Both teams from last night in fact are better off than the Jets.

Now for the jets they’re the worst team in football mainly because they don’t have a single building block. But as soon as Brees leaves the saint the jets will move up one spot.

I don't think any franchise will be worse than Cleveland Browns under Randy Lerner ownership. He never had any interest in football or the Browns. He didn't attend games or press conferences. His real passion was soccer and he couldn't build a lasting franchise is Aston Villa. While he did hire some big names and coaches that were considered to be the next big thing, they all were failures and never given a chance since Randy was probably expecting quick turnaround.

Even though Haslam hasn't had a good start to his first time being a majority owner for a pro sports team, I take that as 'rookie mistakes' an owner can make when making all the decision for the first time, especially when taking over a franchise that had a crumpling foundation for a decade. At least now in Cleveland they completely removed the old foundation and built a new one by treating last season as if they were an expansion team.

Kizer shows promise, considering he was going against Pittsburgh and Baltimore, whom usually have great defenses, and he made the usual rookie mistakes. This Sunday will be a true test to see just how much of a potential franchise QB he can be. He should have a really good game considering how bad Colts D is at the moment.

I am loving the D and the schemes Williams is putting together. Get some true CBs and secondary help, they can have a great D in a couple years.

William Clay Ford's Lions will definitely compete as the worst.

Some of us may be fans of teams that haven't had much success as of late. But we love our teams just as much as fans of the consistent winners. I love my Bills. My wife and daughters obviously come first in life, but football is also a love of mine that is very near and dear to my heart. After my faith and family, it's all about the football. I've taken my shots over the years whether it is having my balls busted by buddies, coworkers, or you fine folks in here. At the end of the day, I love this game. I love my team. One day teams like the Bills, Jets, Browns, etc. will be good again. And we will have our day.

Yep, for most teams it's a cycle. Unfortunately, for some, those cycles are longer than others. There will be a day when the good teams suck for awhile.

That day is coming for the Patriots after Tom Shady and Belicheat ride off into the sunset.

Russia has an oligarchic, crony capitalist system. Similar to the U.S. Hell, these days similar from the top down.

16 straight winning seasons, 14 division championships, 11 AFC championship games, 7 Super Bowls, and 5 championships in the past 16 years. And what does everyone say “someday it’s gonna end”, whatever helps you sleep at night.

Attitudes like that are exactly why all those who don't like the Patriots will be happy when their dominance ends.

When i think of the Jets i think of the talent you’ve drafted on defense the last few years. Not sure if you guys will put it together but man we were Browns level bad for so long. Its not a cycle because some teams like CLE just always seem to suck but i can see u guys coming back strong.

Oh I’m sorry did you miss Batman’s first post? Cause I was just replying to that and once I lay out credentials everyone does “this is why not one likes you” or “very humble”.
