I'm more of a reader of this thread, but I just wanted to stop in and say that Trevathan's hit was stomach-turning. It was unsettling to see him out there the very next play after that one. Hope Adams is okay.

But Vontaze wasn’t nearly as bad as this hit. Plus the nfl has to make an example of him.

He should be suspended the max games allowed. They need to do everything to minimize CTE.

Prior conduct shouldn't matter in this case. Everyone could see that the play was effectively over. If he wanted to wrap Adams up and help bring him down, nothing wrong with that. But to come at him like THAT should be at least three weeks. I take no pleasure in calling for someone to not receive a paycheck (or three), but in this case I do believe it's warranted.

While he does fall into some bad habits presumably due to his relative inexperience to the job, his exuberance is infectious and is a welcome change to the mundane world of sports broadcasting.

Haven't watched a game yet that Romo was on, but from what I've seen of his commentating in clips on Facebook, he seems fine.
