Nobody wanted Bowman in a trade because his salary this year is $6.75 million, so a team trading for him would owe him over $4.75 million for the rest of the season and that's too much considering his injury history. They're be plenty of teams interested in him now as a free agent at a much more reasonable salary.

I’m sure he has off set language which means he would be playing for free. So it’s whatever team gives him a shot at a ring.

Per Pro Football Talk offset language won't apply:

In essence since veterans on the week 1 roster can take their entire salary as termination pay once in their career the offset won't apply.

Not guaranteed but the pats and packers have won their division 8 times in a row. Plus there are teams who are “regulars” in the post season.

Green Bay hasn't. They've just made the playoffs 8 straight. They've only one their division 5 of those years
