I think the mvp will be Brady and Wentz right now. Watson is gonna finish with a high int which will hurt him but definitely rookie of the year.

Watson really lucked out landing in Houston. He could have ended up in so many dead end places like Cleveland or San Francisco where he would have been a tackling dummy for years. Houston is a great fit.

Umm actually Kaep opted out of his contract. Chances are the new regime wouldn't have kept him but we'll never know because he is the one that made the decision to leave.
The Niners defense is not good, most specifically the secondary, and the O-line is missing key starters, any QB you plug in is going to have a real hard time succeeding. I am not even a Kaep hater, I liked him, wished he may have stuck around but understood why he didn't but with all that said he has a VERY limited skill set which is why he hasn't gotten a shot with another team. As many of us have said in here, if he were elite like Brady or Rodgers, any team would pick him up and deal with the distraction he brings because winning solves almost anything.
SF was an ideal place for him to be with his political stance because California, especially the Bay Area, is very liberal and tolerant of his views. Again, he and his dumb girlfriend have done him no favors. The cop pig socks, Fidel Castro shirt and Cuba comments, girlfriends Twitter comments, etc. just added fuel to the whole dumb fire.
Despite all that I still like him and wish the best for him, he's just a guy with a different opinion/point of view than most, nothing wrong with that. I just think this collusion charge is silly. Unless there is a paper trail between all of the owners, it's unprovable. I think it's a nice gesture that the players have invited him to their next meeting but it's just an empty gesture. The plan is what, to guilt an owner into signing someone they don't want on their team? Beyond that tv ratings are down, advertisers are skittish, which means revenue could (may be already) suffer. That trickles down from the top. Of course the league and owners are worried and they should be, polls show that most viewers are sick of the anthem protests.

Teams with the lowest average home attendance in the NFL this season. It has to be decades since any NFL team failed to draw 30,000 a game at home for a season.

Not surprised, the Chargers stink, the Rams do not. LA fans historically don't turn out for the bad teams.

This is the first time the rams have been good in over a decade.

We'll see if it lasts, still not sold on Goff and their defense is a bit shaky.

The stadium only holds 27k, so that stat is a little misleading.
It wouldn’t even be in the top 100 of college stadiums in terms of capacity. Oh yeah, plus the Chargers are not good.

It's not, it's baseball and basketball, don't think they've ever been a good town for football teams.

This has been debunked time and time again. TV ratings are down slightly for the NFL this season but it's in line with pro sports on the whole. The modest TV ratings decline is primarily due to people steering away from cable television and "cutting the cord" in favor of streaming games, similar to movies. TV ratings are down in the NBA and MLB in recent years as well due to new technologies allowing people to view games by other means. Aside from the NFL teams that moved cities (namely the Rams and Chargers) NFL attendance is doing just fine too.

I know the poll you're talking about and that too has repeatedly been debunked.

Exactly. Actually traditional TV viewing is down for everything on TV. Across the board there’s been an 8% drop of viewership, while the NFL has only had a 5% drop, this year versus last. So you could actually say the NFL is doing well, just not as well as past years.

That WAS a touchdown. The NFL royally screwed that one up.

SF would suck regardless. This is what happens when you trade Alex Smith away. Furthermore, Crap opted out of his contract. Can we please not mention this idiot anymore?

Any QB should flourish in Houston. Miller, 2 good WRs, Solis defense. They have great players all over.

It’s not. That’s why it’s so stupid to put any teams there.

No love for Alex Smith? QB rating of 120, 72% completion rate, 15 TD, zero picks. He's having a nearly perfect season.

Hopefully we can end that 0 picks streak for him this Sunday

He’s a great game manager, but we would need to include YAC/RAC stats in there...then it would tell a little different story.

He’s not even the mvp of the team yet alone the mvp of the league.
