despite the Giants having a 2 game lead, the NFC east is wide open
![]() Giants have an absolutely brutal schedule with games against patriots, packers, saints, 49ers, jets, 2 cowboys games, 1 eagle game every game out of the division is against a playoff contender the only W they can put down for a lock is the deadskins ![]() |

I root for all my bay area team...and I'm in shock to see them going 6-1 behind Alex Smith. I think their winnings are due to their running back and good defense. I still don't believe in Alex Smith at all...
If their running back and defense continues the way they are....they'll make it to the playoff...but they won't go far in the playoff... I can see a good hand full of team that can beat the 49er... For now, I'll just enjoy the winning ride. |

They've only played 1 winning team, and while they won that game, they've looked awful against some bad teams. I still predict Philly to win the division. By the way, funny you should say that the "deadskins" are a lock when they already destroyed the Giants once this season. |

1. Toronto Maple Leafs--Last Cup win was 1967 (longest current drought in the NHL (44 years) & have missed the playoffs for 6 consecutive seasons) 2. Toronto Blu Jays--Last post season appearance was in 1993 (18 years) 3. Toronto Raptors--Crappy EVERY year 4. Cleveland Browns--Last Championship was in 1964 (47 years) and have been to the playoffs once since 1994. On pace for ANOTHER 5-11 season. 5. Michigan Wolverine Football--"Rich Rod" hangover and even though they're ranked in the Top 20 they're probably the 5th best team in the Big 10 (12). ![]() ![]() Last edited by filmnut5; 10-31-2011 at 01:45 PM. |

A lot of people got worried over the Jax game. I never pick against the Ravens at home. Same with Pats/Steelers/Packers.
I still expect the ravens to go 12-4 or better. All depends on this SNF against Pit, Turkey Da against SF, and th SD game as far as I'm concerned. Absolute worst case scenario would be 11-5, and hopefully that's enough for playoffs. |

How about you start determining wins by watching the actual game instead of predicting them using "statistical point favorites"? If you did that, you'd see that the Cards were owning us the entire first half. Statistics don't mean anything. This is football.

Mike Sando of ESPN laid out a realistic scenario in which the 49ers could clinch their division after week 11 (November 20). If the 49ers win at Washington, against the Giants, and against the Cardinals they would be 9-1. If the Seahawks lose at Dallas, against Baltimore, and at St. Louis they would be 2-8. If the Cardinals beat the Rams and lose to the Eagles and 49ers they would be 2-8. And finally if the Rams lose at Arizona and Cleveland and win at home against the Seahawks they would be 2-8.

Yep thats how it works. Also we are now in the NFL flex week windows so for week 10: Patriots/Jets stays SNF -- no shock there. Lions/Bears moves from 1:00 to 4:15 -- gives fox a late game to go along with Giants/49ers. |
