Don't you think that having the other team's top corner on Dez contributes to that number as well?

Dez needs a gunslinger like Romo to shine. Dak doesn't throw as many jump balls.

Top receivers beat top corners. Part of the problem is Linehan tries to use Dez deep. He's not a burner and never has been. All corners have to do most of the time when he goes deep is mirror him and then fight him for the ball. Dez is at his best in space where he can attack the ball and then run after the catch. Dez was a top 5 WR before the foot injuries sapped what little speed he has. He's still a pretty good possession receiver and a good weapon in the red zone.

Martellus Bennett’s comments about the Packers medical staff is not being perceived well by the NFL community. He wanted out as soon as Rodgers got hurt, and this was not the right way to do it.

Top receivers are more likely to beat top corners when they have chemistry, accurate QBs, and lots of targets. Dez is a lower tier top receiver with a QB who is still new and not super accurate yet. If Dez can't beat those corners how would Dak and the rest of his receivers do if Dez isn't around and the top corners are covering someone else?

He has a torn rotator cuff is not like you can fake that and instead of playing for losing team he opted for surgery. They chose to cut him and now he is on a playoff team. As Andrew luck has shown us playing through that type of injury is not a good thing. I don't have a problem with what he did so far only the packers and individuals with parkers seem to have a problem.

Just doesn't make sense that he's playing for the Patriots right now if this was all because he wanted to get surgery and their doctor didn't think it was needed.

Doesn’t make sense at all. He wanted surgery so bad with Green Bay.

with Zeke out we might see Dak take more shots downfield. This weekend against Atlanta should be interesting.

Go Vikings, beat the Redskins!

For this week's toilet bowl, we have 1-7 NY against 0-9 San Francisco. Which team can tank harder?

As mentioned NFLN needs to carry live games to get $$ fees.
NFLN could go the way of the Dodo bird. I’ve never been a big fan of the network.
Also as I mentioned, the NFL did just fine for decades before it had its own network.

Exactly! I wouldn’t lose a wink of sleep if both Bennett brothers retired today.
Good riddance!

I'd be more okay with NFL Network if I didn't have to go to a bar to watch the games. I don't really watch it because I get all the NFL news I need anyway from Twitter and Rotoworld.

NFL Network isn’t going anywhere. It’s a very successful endeavor by the NFL.

I like NFLN more than ESPN these days. Neither is all that great though.

I don’t know if I could survive without NFL Network. One of the most watched channels in my house.

I wouldn’t mind if either network ditched their game packages. Would love to see football all DAY Sunday and Monday night. Then sprinkle in the Thanksgiving and Christmas Day games and I’m a happy camper. I know it will never happen, and the NFL will probably add games to Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s before realizing that contracting a little might be prudent.
I guess we will find out as more people tune out.
