Some funny stuff from jerry.
Jones would not address whether he threatened to come after Goodell “with everything I have” as ESPN reported last week. The article also said Jones used colorful language to describe Robert Kraft and the Patriots owner’s battle with the NFL over Deflategate. Earlier Sunday, Patriots president Jonathan Kraft said Jones advised the Patriots to take their “medicine and focus on winning football games.” “I guess I don’t know who the source was, and don’t know if it is true or not,” Jonathan Kraft said of Jones’ comment about his father during an interview on 98.5 The Sports Hub via Mike Reiss of ESPN. “If Jerry said that, and I don’t know that he did, Robert at the end of the day followed Jerry’s own advice. Our franchise, since the investigation started the night of the AFC championship [in 2015], has won two Super Bowls.” Jones would not address his conversation with the Krafts but said Tom Brady‘s suspension and Elliott’s suspension were “different.” “I don’t have any comment to that,” Jones said. “But those circumstances are so different. Just they’re different. We’re not going to write anything – a book here. They’re just different. They’re just different. That’s that. But I didn’t hear [Jonathan Kraft’s comments Sunday]. I think the world of Jonathan.” Yeah Jerry the suspension were different but the out comes and the conclusions were the same. The NFL wants to find people guilty and that's what they do. Everyone was cool with it when the pats were going down but now that it's in Jerrys house it's bullish!t? Nothing against Dallas the team but your owner is an A$$hole. |

How could he possibly think Zeke was NOT going to serve any type of suspension. Then once Goodell did him the courtesy of waiting until after his HoF induction, instead of fighting it just take it at the beginning of the season. When the team was healthy and the schedule was easier. The fallout we are seeing now is clearly from a guy that thought, 100%, nothing was going to happen to his player. Or maybe it would happen next season? Either way, he had to think, on some level, that if they got Brady there was no chance Zeke would go unpunished. Now you have to wonder how much of a distraction this has become for the team and when they start throwing in the towel...or just pull a Bennett and threaten season ending surgery in order to jump ship because things are tough. |

Love the attention the Jags are getting this season. We have several all-stars on defense and I believe this is truly the best defensive team this organization has ever seen. We just need to take care of business! |
