BDawk made the HoF semifinalist list.
Although the Safety position gets even more crowded with LeRoy Butler joining Dawk, Lynch and Atwater.

Interesting no QBs on this list.

I wish they could all go in. Act as a reset button of sorts as the bottleneck is only going to get worse.

There's a lot of players that deserve to get in and won't (hopefully in following years).

Randy Moss is in my opinion the bets WR all-time, so I'm excited to watch him be enshrined.

Ray Lewis and Ronde Barber should be locks.

I’d love to see Moss get in first ballot before Owens.
I’m guessing: Lewis, Urlacher and Hutchinson are locks, which leaves two spots.
Moss and Owens?

Peter King, who is a HOF voter, thinks Lewis and Moss are the only locks for enshrinement. He thinks an offensive lineman will make it as well, with Tony Boselli, Steve Hutchinson, and Alan Faneca all having strong cases. He thinks Terrell Davis making it helps Boselli's chances because like Davis Boselli didn't have a long career due to injuries but when he was healthy he may have been the best tackle in the league. King's projected HOF class is Lewis, Moss, Boselli, Urlacher, and the 5th spot being wide open with Ty Law, Brian Dawkins, and Ronde Barber all being worthy.

Coach Sean McDermott announced Tyrod Taylor will start Week 12 against the Chiefs.

There was no way McDermott could have seriously gone back to rookie Nathan Peterman after he tossed five picks in the first half of his first NFL start last week against the Chargers and had to be yanked at halftime. If McDermott would have gone back to him, he would have risked mutiny from his players. Taylor deserves the job. He's on the fantasy radar this week against a below-average Chiefs defense, though it's important to note Taylor is much better at home than on the road, and Arrowhead Stadium is one of the more difficult environments.

Brian Dawkins should get in over Barber and Law

He probably would already be in if he didn't drop so many passes and didn't have a reputation as a toolbag.

The dropped passes thing is BS. That's them trying to make excuses. I think 2004 TO should you how tough and great he was. He should be and that's it.

Here is pro football article on the dropped football BS

It’s not the Hall of Stats. If it were, then there would only be a Top 10 List. But integrity is part of the selection process, as well as Championships, both are things Owens lacks.

No it's supposed to be on field only. Also almost everyone in the top ten of stuff is in the hall of fame. Especially the guy who is number two on almost all the stats. And it's not like Randy moss was perfect he quit on plays and has zero rings. Plus Torry holt has all those things and he hasn't even sniffed the hall of fame and won't before TO or Moss.

Supposed to be? As in your opinion?
Integrity has been and always will be part of the decision process. That’s a fact.

Um no peter king has said that in a ton of interviews. That they can not look at off the field issues! Sports Illustrated writer Peter King, who is on the Hall of Fame voting committee, has said that Sharper must be considered because voters are prohibited from taking off-field issues into account. That's his quote on DARREN SHARPER being considered. So it's not my opinion.

I never said off the field issues. As far as I know Owens never had any. All his issues were on the field, for the world to see.
Peter King is a glorified wind bag. The Hall has already spoken on Owens...twice actually.
How much you want to bet Sharper doesn’t even sniff the Hall?

Never heard about the drops argument till now lol

Receivers like TO have more drops cause they get targeted more. It's that simple. Unless his career drop percentage is very high compared to others it shouldn't matter.
