Dak might not be a future HOFer but he's a good, solid QB. At the very least he's another Romo, the guy to lead the team and keep them afloat if the right pieces are around him. Throwing him under the bus as a scapegoat for other deficiencies on the team isn't the way to go.

It's what Cowboys fans do. They spent years throwing Romo under the bus when he was one of the few quality players on those god-awful teams.

Cowboys fans' favorite thing to do is pretend that they are one player away from the Superbowl, and from that perspective it's easy to see why the QB gets targetted.

Living in Dallas, I have grown to hate most Cowboys fans, they seem so delusional.

Be wary of generalization of Dallas fans...not all of them are delusional as you stated.

That's why I said "most" Cowboys fans, not all. In fairness even then it's probably that the Cowboys fans who aren't that way aren't nearly as vocal about it.

But listening to Steve Dennis on Sports radio and his legions of utterly delusional followers...it's hard to not eventually think most fans are as dumb as they are.

Oh I know the ones you are referring to, Terjyn. I deal with them daily & sometimes it makes me wonder are the truly a fan?

Trust me, most of the whiners on the Cowboys forum that are never happy even when they're 12-4 or 13-3 are not real fans. They're just people that are only happy when others are miserable.

They whine because the defense didn't stop the Packers in the play-offs and because DeMarco Murray got stripped on that play where he was probably gone for a long touchdown. For last year they whined because the offense didn't get going till we were way down but eh, it was a good season. Just a bad ending.
