The only season is that 08 season when a quality back up took over with an undefeated team. Bill wasn't lighting it up in Cleveland.

Tell that to Jim harbaugh or Sean mcvay. Just this year check out how many first time coachs made the playoffs.

It’s very safe to assume if Brady didn’t play a game this season New England, easily, gets double digit wins.
No way, Philly goes 8-8 without Wentz.
Subtract any two MVP candidates from their team and see who is missed more.

Just think. Oakland paid but got Gruden out of the booth. Great move on them especially as they near their Vegas relocation.

Cleveland could and should do the same. Do whatever the hell it takes to get a guy like Cowher out of the booth and back on the sidelines. Pay up. THAT is how you make a statement and put faith back in the fans.

Jimmy is a starter not my fault pats keep drafting pro bowlers. But with brissett or mallet no way.

Plus I said all year they were gonna go tom brady is 40 and look what he did.

Browns don’t have as much money as some of powerhouse teams. Heck, I don’t know how Oakland is affording what they paying Gruden, and still owe Del Rio.
Back in the day Al Davis had to take out loans to play players.
This is a 100%, push the chip All In, move to Vegas. What happens if they aren’t competitive? NFL has never been in Vegas, so this is kind of uncharted territory.
I know I will be tuning to see them, but will the Vegas fans? Consistently?

You keep saying 40. Wentz coming from a nothing school and in his 2nd year doing all that he did is just as good a story, even better one could argue, than Brady. It’s all about your POV.

But they don’t have the operating power that other teams do. Cap has nothing to do with it. That just sets a floor and a ceiling.
