I wonder if the Raiders will have an advantage in Vegas. You know the visiting team is gonna party.

Anyone with any local Hallmark stores? I wonder what NFL/MLB/NHL keepsake ornaments they have still in stock. They're all 75% off now but mine only had a few guys (bought Barry Sanders ). If you can check and let me know, I might be interested

You don't want to see Case in the Super Bowl? It's more fun when it's the same guys every year?

And POOF! Cincinnati hires Lions DC Teryl Austin to the same position.

EDIT: Oakland was gunning for him as well.

Hallmark is based out of KC. I'll try to stop by one tomorrow and let you know.

According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, there is "every expectation" Antonio Brown (calf) will return in "full form" for the Divisional Round against the Jaguars.

Sidelined since suffering a partial calf tear on December 17 against the Patriots, Brown will have had nearly a month to recuperate when the Steelers host Jacksonville. When Pittsburgh faced the Jags in Week 6, Brown went off for ten catches and 157 yards, tearing through Jacksonville's predominant zone coverage.

Idk... I’d say that the AFC was better than the NFC up until around 2013. At least from the early 2000s up to then. But the NFC has much stronger overall since then.

Look at all the years where you had Pats, Steelers, Ravens, Colts, Broncos, etc.

All season long you knew it was Pats/Steelers. Hope the Titans can somehow make a change to that. And I am oddly enough pulling for the Jags against the Steelers. Doesn’t feel natural, but I seriously hate the Steelers. And I’d rather have a shot to go 3-0 against the Jags and totally renew this rivalry.

The same sentiment would have applied to the Saints, if Minnesota had not closed their roof in 2016. As is, if I'm a Viking fan, I'm kinda nervous about this one. I mean, Case Keenum or Drew Brees? You tell me. Make the case.

Patriots should win, as should Pittsburgh. The AFC Divisional round has serious snoozer potential.
Saints defense or Vikings defense?

Vikings destroy the Saints this weekend.

I was in Vegas over the weekend and Emmitt Smith was signing autographs at Field of Dreams at the Forum Shops at Caesars. I was probably at the store for 20 minutes and during that period I only saw one person get an autograph. Not sure how much they were charging, but it must have been enough to dissuade people.

Sounds like it may be something where they charge a lot. I wen on the Field of Dreams website and Emmitt, Mike Tyson, Jerry Rice, Joe Montana seem to show up at this shop a lot during the year.

When I was in Vegas in 2016 Mike Tyson was signing and the cheapest autograph was $199 for an 8x10 picture or $249 for a 16x20 picture or boxing glove, plus you had to pay an additional $15 if you wanted a certificate of authenticity (you had to buy something to get your picture taken with him). That's ludicrous for someone like Tyson who has done so many signings over the years that the market is flooded with cheap signed memorabilia.

If you’re already filthy rich, you should be willing to sign autographs for free or don’t do it at all.

You couldn't pay me to own a Mike Tyson autograph, Smith would have to beg me.

Panthers fired OC Mike Shula.

QBs coach Ken Dorsey was also let go. Shula had been with the Panthers since 2011 and the offensive coordinator since 2013, but this is hardly a surprise. The passing game consistently struggled during his tenure and took another step this season. Even though the rushing numbers look good because of Cam Newton, the running game also struggled in 2017, with Jonathan Stewart and Christian McCaffrey combining for 1,115 yards on 315 carries (3.5 YPC). It was time for a change, but a new coordinator will not help much if the Panthers fail to add some weapons on the outside.
