ODB is just not a Belichick player. I still say the chances of Bill leaving are infinitesimal, the Patriots would have to get thumped pretty hard by the Titans this week.

It's going to be interesting if he ends up there (and it appears he's the front runner for the Giants job). A big part of the Giants coaching job is handling the media and Patricia doesn't seem like the type of guy that's going to be media friendly. He's also spent his entire professional coaching career under Belichick so it's likely he'll want to run the team like Belichick, and that could be a problem with some of the Giants players.

He's clearly the front runner for both Lions and Giants. AHHHHHHHHHHHH.

That guy.... love/hate him. He's one hell of a DC, no matter where he is. When he first came to Detroit, I liked him. Nothing but fire in him, and brought us from the dead. But he wasn't a great HC at all, and had no discipline whatsoever. Didn't have great coordinators either. So my love for him didn't last long. But he was better than Jim Caldwell.

I wish him well, and I hope that when he does become HC again that he has learned from past mistakes.

Very true. Unfortunately, it's a shame that Hee Haw won't let this competent new FO pick their own coach.

Agreed. The front office (Dorsey, Wolf, Highsmith) are all out-the-park homeruns for Cleveland (even if 2 are from GB

). But seriously, these guys will be amazing for Cleveland.

I was surprised when he took he DC job in Philly, and very happy. I agree with you, I think he’s a better DC than HC. Hopefully he wants to stay, but I can never fault these guys for wanting to move up.

I look forward to the draft every year because, well...it's the closest thing to a Super Bowl the Browns get every year. With these guys making the picks, I'm even more excited.

Then I remember who the owner and the head coach still are and it brings me back down to earth. How short of a leash do you think Hue's on next year? I'd like to believe that if they start off with a string of losses (0-4, perhaps 0-5), he's a goner.
