Ok, I generally like the Rooney rule but this is kind of ridiculous. The Raiders DID interview multiple people of color as part of the process. They clearly fulfilled the Rooney rule. Does this group just assume the rule is affirmative action? Because it's not anything like that.

So when they use the term “minority candidates”, they’re clearly only referencing black/African American men, right? What about Hispanic, Chinese, Korean, Greek, Canadian ![]() If the Raiders clearly wanted Gruden from the get-go, why do they have to fake formalities to appease anybody? |

The Raiders wanted Gruden and went out and got him, the story should end right there! The Raiders nor should any other franchise be forced into these dog and pony shows giving token interviews to potential coaches they have 0 interest in and are only bound by this dumb rule to insult and waste everyone's time with this forced process! |

It's also the first London game for the Seahwks and Titans. The only teams remaining that haven't played in London are the Packers, Texans, and Panthers. There was talk that the Packers-Jaguars game in 2016 was being considered for London but that Jags owner Shad Khan didn't want it moved because he knew the game would easily sell out in Jacksonville.
