They still couldn't beat the nothing to play for Cowboys. I consider it more of a toss-up than the Jaguars-New England game though. Good chance the Patriots win, especially since they have superior talent and won't be as worn out.

The Patriots are going to sell out to stop the run. They’ll make it a Blake Bortles game. They always take away what you do best.

Which is exactly why I think the Jaguars should lose between Fournette being ineffective and the team being worn out from back to back slugfests with the Bills and the Steelers.

I’m not sure how effective fournette will be he only had 27 yards after that injury.

Whoa there, Nelly. Pump the brakes. We still have a tough game against Philly. Why don't you make some popcorn and watch the game from your couch like Zeke and Kak. The big boys are playing now.

Exactly. The Pats will take away their biggest option on offense, and they definitely won't make the ridiculous mental mistakes that Pittsburgh did.

It's going to take a perfect storm of events to happen to the Pats, for the Jaguars with Blake Bortles to come into NE and win. Not saying it's impossible, just extremely hard to fathom.

I like how people keep saying Blake Bortles played lights out in Pittsburgh. I love the bar is so low that 53% completion for 214 yards and 1 touchdown is lights out. Haha

Given his past production it was a giant step in the right direction.

Adequate is the word to describe how he played. Didn't turn it over, did just enough from his position to get the win.

Bortles made plays when the team needed them to stay ahead of the Steelers.

Sean Payton, like Mike Tomlin, has wasted the last few years of his HoF QB. Surprised more people are not calling for his job. He also missed the playoffs for a good while.

Winning rings is tough. There are a few in the hall of fame with just 1 or less.

I’m kind of enjoying this newfound rivalry with the Jags... I hope Ramsey gets embarrassed. Probably not smart to tell your fan base you’re going to win the Super Bowl... when Blake Bortles is your QB.

The Jags seem to have gotten a little too cocky too quick IMO. Reminds me a lot of Cam the SB year.

Just remember, Ballsacksonville, pride comes before the fall.

Jimmy g gave us the outline to beat them. Basically 2014 Seahawks short middle zone throws and lots of running backs coming out. Won't be easy but definitely think we have seen this D before.

Honestly, they don't even need that blueprint from Jimmy G to win this game, their defense isn't on par with the '14 Seahawks, or even last year's Atlanta team. The Jags had the easiest schedule in the entire league this year, they definitely have some play makers on defense, but they are hardly the best D in league as so many of their players like to shout out. lol

Go ahead and get that ring. Would make you 6-4

I'd put more blame on Saints GM Mickey Loomis than Sean Payton. For years the Saints had a below average roster because of poor drafting, bad free agent signings, and terrible cap management and while Payton is a part of that the majority of the blame goes to Loomis. You look at the moves Loomis made from 2013-2016 and most of them failed terribly. He had a great draft in 2017 and the team's salary cap is in decent shape for the first time in years but the window for Brees is closing quickly.
