No one is that nice when you beat their team. Especially when you stop them from going to the Super Bowl.

You say that like everyone in Minnesota is a football fan when I'm pretty sure that's not the case.

If only more stories keep coming out and eagles fans had to travel to Minnesota next week. Oh wait that's what's happening. You're gonna hear some crazy stories next week about eagles fans.

The Patriots will get their first blowout win in a Super Bowl, winning by double digits. It will be a defensive struggle for the first quarter. Tom Brady will put the game away late in the 3rd when the Eagles defense gives up cause Nick Foles can't move the ball.

I would like to see that but these games are close so not counting my chickens. I hope tom brady gets a touchdown in the first quarter. 7 Super Bowls and hasn't done that yet crazy.

I just hope everyone keeps thinking this way. It's worked out well for us so far.

Sounds like Bob Costas won't be working NFL games again:

Quote:
Bob Costas cited his own dampening enthusiasm for football as the main reason he will not be an on-air host for NBC’s pregame show at next month’s Super Bowl. “The decision was mutually agreeable, and not only do I not have a problem with it, I am actually happy about it,” he told THE DAILY via email. “I have long had ambivalent feelings about football, so at this point, it’s better to leave the hosting to those who are more enthusiastic about it.”

Costas: “I have been making the same points for several years, often on NBC. In halftime commentaries, interviews with Roger Goodell and other prominent NFL figures, appearances on CNN and elsewhere, I have addressed the issue of football and its undeniable connection to brain trauma many times. Why? Because the evidence is overwhelming and the effects are often devastating. It’s the elephant in the stadium at every game whether others choose to acknowledge it or not. And it’s not going away. So the idea that I am only now finding my voice on this, or that NBC was taken aback by what I said at Maryland is just wrong. It’s all simple and straightforward.”

The patriots won’t think that way. That’s what makes them great.

He's always been a baseball guy anyway. Hell he's probably on MLB Network more than he is on NBC nowadays.

For all sports or just football? I always liked him for MLB, Olympics and most other sports. Just not so much the NFL.

Yeah I've always liked him. He does come off kind of smarmy but he's very knowledgeable and a good broadcaster.

Looks like costas is leaving football because of CTE.
