Yo, that Philly Special was done earlier in the season (pretty identical) by Detroit.

On 4th down? With 2mins to go in the half only being up by 3? With the ball going to Brady? In the Super Bowl?

I really hope Shaquem Griffin gets his shot in the NFL. He tore is up at UCF in his senior year, winning just about every honor possible, including MVP of a BCS game. Not bad for a guy with one hand.

Quote:
Central Florida linebacker Shaquem Griffin vowed before the NFL scouting combine opened that "something special's coming soon." On Saturday, he began fulfilling that promise.

Griffin, who according to the NFL is attempting to become the first player with one hand to be drafted into the league in the modern era, got a roar from the fans in the bleachers when he put up 20 repetitions of 225 pounds in the bench press. The reaction was, by far, the loudest any player has received to this point in the open-to-the-public portion of the testing.

His performance was also better than 10 of the offensive linemen who did their bench presses Friday.

"Sources" say Kirk Cousins is going to decide between the Vikings, Cardinals, Jets and Broncos.

I question whether Griffin can play in the NFL but he certainly has the tenacity and the drive to get there.

According to SNY's Ralph Vacchiano, the Jets fear free agent Kirk Cousins is "destined" to sign with the Vikings.

The Jets believe they can outbid the Vikings while offering a better contract structure, but aren't sure it's going to matter. Cousins reportedly wants to go where he can win immediately and the Vikings would give him that opportunity. With Minnesota emerging as heavy favorites to land Cousins, New York is reportedly preparing for "Plans B and C and, if possible, D." That could mean pivoting to Case Keenum or perhaps re-signing Josh McCown as a bridge to a future franchise quarterback.

What a mess Jerruh is making...again!
Setting aside the fact he’s being sued by the league for his idiotic failure of trying to usurp Goodell, he basically contradicted his own son in regards to their plans with handling Dez. Then as a cherry on top, he stated that the organization wouldn’t spend any money on babysitters for the players this season.
If anyone would warrant a special Dallas Cowboy babysitter, it’s Zeke. He is the franchise. Lol!
So yet again by opening his mouth Jerruh has put himself, his team, employees and players in a bad situation IF Zeke screws up again...which is highly likely.

The World Champion Philadelphia Eagles Dream season continue on!

Now talk about high comedy.
Doug Pederson only wins a Championship in his 2nd year as a head coach, and only receives ONE(1) vote for CotY. I guess being cool like McVey is all the rage with voters these days.
Ah well, I’m thinking Pedey had the last(and the longest) laugh.

Just proves how meaningless those awards are if Jerry Jones and Jason Garrett can win them. Jason may actually stay on the job long enough to beat Jeff Fisher for most losses ever. Starting to think those rumors of Jerry heating up Jason's seat are just rumors.

I almost feel sorry for Dallas fans...almost.
Jones constantly puts everyone around him in unnecessary bad situations through his ego driven actions. It all started when he fired Jimmy, and he hasn’t let off the pedal since, with the results(outside of revenue) being borderline disastrous. But hey as long as fans enjoy paying for a largely inferior product, the guy is a genius I suppose.
I wonder when we will start to see a power struggle between father and son?

I think there already is one. Rumors are Jerry's lost a lot of power and Will and Stephen run a lot of the show. However, Jason never hires his own staff and players can run and cry to Jerry whenever they want so he has some control. I do also criticize Dallas' unwillingness to go fishing in free agency. I know they got burned by overpaying Brandon Carr but being overly frugal isn't the answer either. You can only build so much of your team through the draft, free agency and trades are another major component of properly building a contender.

I think Dallas has been pretty hamstrung in FA, first for going over the cap and getting penalized for 2 years and then getting Romo’s money off the books. They should be free and clear this year.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they go after TE Trey Burton(perfect QB rating in the Super Bowl ), as a possible replacement for Witten. I hope they pay him a lot to increase Philly’s chance of getting a compensatory pick in 2019.

LOL we already have James Hanna, Rico Gathers and Geoff Swaim plus there's issues with Dez so we may go with a dynamic pass catcher early. Plus Witten doesn't age like normal people so he may play another 3-4 years. By then, Gathers or Swaim may be ready to take over full-time as the #1 TE. Oh and we have to pay Tank and Martin plus they need to save space to eventually pay Dak and Zeke so I don't seem them going wild with the spending this off-season either. I do want a better #3 WR and another pass-rushing DE and maybe another CB but I doubt we'll get any of that.

Sweet! Would hate to see Trey go to a division rival!
I doubt Witten lasts that long. His numbers are already starting to decline. Can’t out race Father Time! Especially with his newly signed 4yr extension carrying a $6.5m cap hit per year. Plus Dallas is gonna have to pay for both Zeke and Dak in 2 years.

I'd say by 2020 Witten will retire, he'll be sorely missed. I don't see Dez sticking around much long either. I could go on but Batman knows all about Dallas so I'll just defer to him.

LOL I know a decent amount but I doubt I know more than most people who regularly watch the team. Dez is definitely a fluid situation but I don't think he's worth the stress anymore. Unless they can coach him into a more consistent possession receiver with a better route tree and make him take a massive pay cut. He's simply not a #1 WR anymore and definitely not worth $14 million a year.

Well that would finish out his contract extension, assuming he played in 2020. Even if his health holds up that long, I don’t know how Dallas can afford to pay him that much unless he regains is form from about 5-6 years ago.
Should be interesting to see how it all works out.

Even if Dez leaves, he knows someone will overpay him what he wants. Washington actually makes a lot of sense for him, if they have the cap space.
