Sherman deal came together quickly, is team friendly, incentive laden. The secondary last year was better than years past, not particularly good, but showed promise, especially Weatherspoon. Tartt is good, Ward decent. Reid is good too but he is a FA, may not have any suitors though. But this was the biggest hole to fill on the team. I am always cautiously optimistic but man it's hard to not get excited about next season!
And yeah I think Sherman is going to play with an extra bit of oomph in the games against SEA.

Going to miss watching Landry on the Dolphins. I understand a coach needs to shape his team, but this isn't the first time I've watched a Dolphins coach get rid of my favorite players. So far, those coaches have not worked out, and I end up wishing they'd kept those players. I guess my idea is that a great coach is the kind of leader that they can get the job done with almost anyone, and doesn't feel the need to jettison people they have difficulty working with. Cam Cameron and Joe Philbin both dismantled a lot, but didn't build much. I hope that isn't what Adam Gase ends up doing.

Adam Gase is well thought of in the NFL community, and has always seemed like a smart football guy. Give him the time to build the roster.

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports the Bills are a "team to watch" for free agent Sam Bradford.

Pelissero adds the Vikings have "stayed in touch" with the impending free agent, but Bradford "may have options, provided he can pass a physical." How Bradford's troublesome knee, which coach Mike Zimmer described as "degenerative," fares in medical testing will likely decide how strong his market actually is. If the Bills are comfortable with his health, this marriage makes a lot of sense.

ESPN's Jeff Darlington says the Dolphins are planning on cutting Ndamakung Suh as early as today. He'll either have a $22.2 million dead cap hit or a $9.1 million dead cap in 2018 and $13.1 million dead cap in 2019 if he's deemed a post June 1 cut. In 3 seasons in Miami he made $60 million.

If we don't sign A-Rob I don't think that would be a major blow to our offense. I mean he has dropped several passes during the 2016-2017 season and he only had a great year in 2015 when Jacksonville played behind and patted their stats, plus he's asking too much and coming back off an ACL injury? I don't think he's a true #1 receiver. I would understand why Jacksonville won't resign him.

Cards going to cut Peterson within the next day or two, could re-sign him

Here is a nice breakdown of the Sherman contract

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...erman-numbers/

As his own agent, sounds like he came well prepared to the negotiating table with Lynch and Shanahan. He was always lauded as a smart guy. Also admits signing with the Niners was a bit of his vengeful side coming out, which when I heard he was meeting with the Niners that thought was in the back of my head. In the story he says about the fans burning his jerseys, that the Seahawks left him, he didn't leave them. I don't know why they care anyways, hasn't been a real rivalry in 4 - 5 years.

Vikings are seemingly using Brees in an attempt to leverage Cousins. That’s a dangerous play.

So if the Vikings wind up with neither of them, is it back to Bridgewater? Does Keenum's price tag go up?
