I’m concerned for Detroit’s TE spot. We have a few scrubs and that’s it. No one great on the market.

What’s wrong with scrubs?

Looks like we're getting Siemian too.

It would be funny if Cousins goes down and Siemian leads the Vikings to a Super Bowl victory... over Keenum and the Broncos.

Man, we played the QB market perfectly. Stayed patient and waited until McCarron had no choice but to agree to our terms. Beane working his magic.

Poor Joe Thomas. A 10x Pro Bowler, 7x First Team All-Pro, and the Browns win-loss record in his 11 years? 48-128 with zero playoff appearances. Sucks he wasted away his entire career with a deadbeat organization.

Has anyone else produced so much for so little team success?

Cortez Kennedy only made one playoff appearance.

Calvin Johnson had two playoff appearances.

Jason Witten and DeMarcus Ware and Tony Romo all deserved far better than they got.

The closest might be Archie Manning, no playoffs with the Saints, but he played with other teams too, unlike Thomas.

Calvin Johnson played in two short-lived playoffs, but he ate that 0-16 season in return.

OK, how about this:

Dick Butkus: 48 W - 74 L - 4 Ties, no playoffs, with the Bears.

Yeah, a lot of that was because Barry carried them to a lot of wins but other really great players played on bigger deadbeat teams throughout their careers. I think Butkus might be the bast example as someone mentioned. He's one of the 5 greatest defensive players of all-time easily and his teams were horrific.

Here's another one on terrible teams. OJ Simpson's teams went 47-105-2 with one playoff game. That includes the 2 years he played for the Niners. He did have a few ok Bills teams from 1973-75 but overall they mostly sucked. They didn't even make the playoffs in his 2,000 yard season.

I can't remember a 2000 yard player being on a team that did well aside from the 2 years Terrell Davis did it.
