He announced a couple days ago that he wouldn't be kneeling next season assuming he gets signed somewhere. I hope he gets signed somewhere, still wish the Niners would make him an offer, he is a good safety and deserves a roster spot somewhere but again, I do see why owners don't want a potential headache with fans or local sponsors. Not a good sign though if one of the most liberal states, regions, fanbase, owners, etc. think your stance may be too much of a distraction. Niners had no issues when Kaep and Reid were under contract and protesting but didn't want to re-up on it, which I get.

The Dolphins have two really good backup QBs now, Tannehill and Osweiler. That is unless the re-sign Matt More or Jay Cutler, then they would have 4 backup QBs.
