Chargers CB Jason Verrett is believed to have torn his Achilles during a conditioning test and is likely out for the season. Verrett made the Pro Bowl in 2015 but that was his only healthy season, as he only played 6 games in 2014 before a shoulder injury ended his season, tore his ACL in week 4 of 2016 and missed the rest of the season, and injured his knee in week 1 of 2017 and missed the rest of the season.

Makes sense for both sides, I don't like Dez but I do wanna see the Browns be competitive for the first time since like the Bush administration.

NFC North looks great on paper, even Chicago could play spoiler late in the season to anyone gunning for a Wild Card. Should be an interesting season for that division.
