The Chargers will be fine here. They’re not going anywhere.
This stadium and the surrounding area we’re building up are gonna blow away any stadium ever built.
It will top $3 billion by the time it’s completed.
This will make Jerruh want to tear down his little stadium and build a bigger, better one just to try to compete.
The area surrounding the stadium is more Rams fans now than Chargers fans.
But when the final product is completed, it’ll be selling out Chargers games also.

Too bad it'll be full of opposing teams fans. Chargers gonna be playing 16 road games.

Most definitely.
I took my wife down to San Diego October 24, 1999 for our anniversary to see the Pack demolish the Chargers 31-3.
The parking lot was like a huge Cheesehead tailgate party.

Same way with the Patriots, it's almost like a extra home game if they are on the road schedule. No offense but in general they have one of the worst fanbases in the league imo.

I think Vegas will be similar for the Raiders. It won't be as bad but people are just looking for a reason to go to Vegas and their team playing there is a very good excuse for a weekend trip.

That fanbase is pissed off, probably why no one is going to the LA Chargers games.

Chargers play in a small soccer stadium south of LA with ridiculous ticket prices. I would've loved to go to the Eagles/Chargers game last year if it wasn't gonna cost me about $300 for a ticket/parking/gas/food and drink/etc. Rams tickets aren't much better but that's understandable.

Are the Rams popular in LA?

All sports in LA are wishy/washy. There’s just way too much to do out there, and outside of the diehard fans most don’t have the sustained interest. A running joke in hockey circles was the only reason the Kings lasted so long was because of the air conditioning.
Vegas should be a good bet. It’s already a great destination spot, and fans will go just to see their team.

Moreso than the Chargers (and from what I could tell, the Clippers), for what that's worth.

I wouldn't say all, but maybe LA is just more of a college football town? Between USC and UCLA, maybe that's all they need?

Clippers should have relocated MANY years ago.

Yeah that's what a lot of people there were saying. If the Rams somehow maintain their current level of play for several years, they'll be fine. I don't think the Chargers have much of a shot though, but that might change once they both start playing in the new Inglewood stadium. I doubt anyone's relocating the Chargers before that's done.

The Clippers were actually in the playoffs two years ago and all anyone on the radio wanted to talk about was the Lakers/Lonzo Ball. No one cares about the Clippers lol

On my lunch break at the stadium.

Interesting to read about the way members from around the country comment on the LA situation.

That was reportedly due to a miscommunication. Gruden said "questionable" when asked if he planned to win any more games this year.

It’s over saturation. Major metro areas experience this. I hear about it all the time living between DC and Baltimore. There’s so many sporting options that they tend to drown one another out. Then factor in rising ticket prices and the commute, combined with easy TV viewing and if the team is not good and you can understand empty seats.
But a place like Vegas might actually make its bread on the visiting fan vs. the residential fan?

Also a pretty high percentage of transplants in LA.
