Steelers offer to Bell was only 10m guaranteed so they were ****ing with him. They were just going to run him into the ground this season and or next and be done. No way he should've signed that.

His teammates calling him out just proves what a garbage locker room and organization they are and why they will never beat the likes of the Patriots in the playoffs.

Mike Tomlin is one of the Jason Garretts in the AFC, Lewis is the other.

All of this boils down to the fact that the Steelers are the most underachieving team in the NFL for the last few seasons. A championship winning coach, a future HOF QB, the best receiver and the best RB in the league but not one conference title game to show for it, let alone a Super Bowl. They've wasted Bell's best years and he knows this.

I don't blame Bell for playing it this way, teams should not be allowed to use the franchise tag on someone more then once imo.

The team has clearly found a replacement, and are doing much better than at this time last season WITH Bell. Next to New England, Pittsburgh has the best front office/talent evaluators in the league. Just look at all the WRs they have drafted and lost to salary over the years. It’s incredible.
So most likely Bell is going to sign a massive deal with some other team. Off the top of my head, Oakland/TB/Jets have a bunch of cap space?
The Colts could have close to $125 million in cap space next year. Other teams that could be in play for Bell (other than the ones you mentioned) could be the 49ers (roughly $70 million in cap space) and the Texans (roughly $73 million in space). Plenty of RB-needy teams with plenty of money so it should be interesting to see how everything plays out.

Steelers offer was fine. He could have accepted it and he would have been just fine. None of these guys are going broke... lol. IMO, the players had justified reasons to voice out. Nice to see some honesty.

MT is getting stale and it's painfully obvious.

Niners signed McKinnon to a 4 yr $30m contract before this season, lost him in the last preseason game to injury. But in his absence the backups Brieda, Morris and Mostert (until that nasty broken arm) have all done a great job filling in, not to mention Juszczyk who is a FB that pretty much functions as a TE. There's no reason they need to go after Bell. The offense, even when marred by injuries, isn't the problem. It's the defense, most specifically the secondary, that needs money dumped into it. Beyond that Saleh has not been impressive as defensive coordinator. If they don't finish strong this season or have a weak start next season, he could be out.

This is one of those games where one team can do no wrong and the other team looks like they never held a football in their life.

Saw a great game. I only had one player to root for in fantasy, which was McCaffery (3 TDs!). HOFer Ben was a master in this one. Good job once again Tomlin on showing any discipline.

PIT legit looked like a SB contender for probably the first time this entire season. Watch out AFC, they're getting hot at just the right time and now have a mini-bye to get ready for the next game.
