Not like I'd really be in good shape either, my back-up is the joke that is Mark Sanchez so I really have to hope Romo can hold up for the next 4 weeks. For the sake of my real life team I hope he makes it through the rest of the season without significant injury, of course.

Wow, didn't know JC was such a lousy QB. So who does that make Aaron Rodgers?

They just put this up cause they didnt even change the graphics yet but it is working.

Click on the winner of each game each week & it will give all the playoff seedings according to your game selections....cool stuff:

I still can't believe the 49'ers have a 5 game lead over everyone in their division after just 9 games. They could literally lose every remaining game and still win that division.

It's harder to predict the AFC South now that Houston lost Schaub and has to play that monumental stiff Matt Leinart. It'll probably come down to the wire between Houston and Tennessee despite the Texans 1.5 game lead.

I have a hard time seeing the Titans winning that division this year. They just don't seem talented enough. I don't expect Leinart to play well, but I think he will be decent enough for the Texans to win the division by a game or two.

Dude...it's over. Had essentially the same thing happen to me with Peyton Manning and Donovan McNabb. The season is a wash.

I get the feeling Fox is not really a fan of "saviour" Tebow:

On Tebow's ability to run a regular offense

"Do whatever the hell it takes," he laughed. "I mean, what the hell? You don't get points for style in this league. Let me tell you something: My man is really good in this offense. You know what I mean?
"If we were trying to run a regular offense, he'd be screwed."

On adapting to his style

"Check out 91," says Fox, pointing toward Chiefs linebacker Tamba Hali. "He's a great rusher, but look how he has to play. He can't even rush. He's just sitting there waiting. He's reading the option.

"What he does against conventional teams is rush the passer. Well, we don't have a passer. We have a runner. Not to say he can't pass at all, but we're recognizing his strengths."

Whether he would have drafted Tebow

"That's hard to say," Fox said. "As a football player, I would have. He's what you're looking for in a football player."

Nothing there about qualities looking for in a QB. Tebow would make a great TE. I'm sure John Fox wishes he could put Orton back in but can't.

Your sarcasm regarding this stiff just doesn't get old...please continue as I can't believe he's even allowed to take snaps in practice...

Why would he want to put Orton back in? He was a disaster this year. At least their winning games with Tebow. Remember in Tebow they trust. Can't wait until we spank him all over the field on thursday.

In an interview with NFL Network's Michael Irvin, DeSean Jackson insists missing or being late to team meetings has not been a "chronic issue."
There have been suggestions that Jackson's one-game benching was the result of "cumulative actions," but routine tardiness was apparently not one of them. Jackson also told Irvin "he'd seen other players miss or be late for meetings and they still played the following Sunday." D-Jax continues to do himself no favors in his quest for a new long-term contract.

Yes he might give it a try after he finishes going to the HOF as a QB, maybe at 35 or 40 he'll switch to TE and break all of Wittens catches

Redskins need to take Harnish in the 3rd round or 4th round

Yeah okay. His passing numbers are still far better than Tebow's but he's a disaster.

Fox had very high praise for Orton at the start of the year. Orton gets screwed because his team doesn't play as hard for him as they do for Tebow. No, Fox does not trust Tebow. His hands are tied that's all. If it was up to him, Orton would still be playing.

Which is why as of now he's a better choice. Look they may be able to shut him down as of next week and he could never win another game. But being able to get the people around you to be able to follow you is just as important as being able to through it 60 yards from your knees.

Oh no

Early signs are that Michael Vick (ribs) is unlikely to play in Sunday's game against the Giants, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Schefter certainly isn't ruling Vick out, as he notes that he "still has time to heal." Additionally, rib injuries are often an issue of pain tolerance more than anything. However, Eagles beat writers are not expecting Vick to be able to go and Vick did miss multiple games last year with a rib/lung injury. For now, owners should be penciling in Vince Young as a borderline QB1 candidate.

Wuss, Romo played through it.
