With the Panthers, Bengals, Jags, Vikings, Titans, 49ers all drafting QB's it looks to me like McNabb or Kolb will be in Arizona soon enough. The other will probably land in Oakland.

AZ should go for McNabb asap when they can negotiate. McNabb lives in AZ anyways and Larry Fitzgerald isn't going to be happy playing with the current list of QB's they have. If they lose Larry to FA due to not getting the passer for him they will be at the bottom of the barrel again.

I'm really liking the draft class for the Chiefs so far. We got a solid #2 WR, a very good C, a good OLB and a good DE. Now all I can hope for is Jerrell Powe as our NT in the 4th Round, perhaps another WR and either Stanzi or McElroy too. I'd be content if that happened, not that I'm not already.

I'd rather have the Stanz because from all the Bama games I watched while McElroy was serviceable he certainly wasn't winning them games. It was the insane amount of talent on the Oline, in the backfield and at the WR spots (and even the TE's) that did the work.

NFL officially reinstates lockout
Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on April 29, 2011, 11:45 PM EDT
The fences are locked in front of the Great Hall of the People ahead of the opening ceremony of the National People's Congress, in Beijing

The lockout is no longer enjoined.

After reviewing the temporary stay which was granted Friday evening by the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, the NFL officially notified teams that the lockout is back on.

“The clubs have been told that the prior lockout rules are reinstated effective immediately,” NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said.

Teams can no longer pass out playbooks or have contact with their players. Weightrooms and team facilities will be closed again.

It only seems fitting in this insane offseason that this announcement would be made after 11 p.m. ET after day two of the NFL Draft. The league can’t let fans enjoy even one weekend.

The stay is only temporary. The court is expected to officially rule on a longer stay sometime next week.

Unfortunately, we won’t have the draft to distract us then.

I doubt they will be going after McNabb

I love how ESPN keeps reporting the non story of Reggie Bush "Officially" off the team. They even had a interview with payton today and he said he is in the teams plans this year and that he talked to bush yesterday. But they are still they reporting he's leaving for sure because of his salary. Saying he doesnt want to take a paycut even though he's mentioned multiple times that he's willing to take a paycut to stay with the team. Yes, he still might leave, but its just seems like EPSN needs some new drama to talk about every day because there is no more Brett Favre.

Yeahg I'm getting sick of the reporting on ESPN. Their website is basically insider only and I'm not paying to read whats free on nfl.com

I think it would be a crazy good season for Saints if they have Brees with Bush and Ingram to take a lot of the load off. Bucs are still kinda rebuilding, they'll be around 8-8. Falcons HAVE TO win this year or they will be in trouble. Carolina will be 4-12 at BEST.

What a great pick for the Patriots selecting Mallet. If anyone can get his head screwed on right it will be Belichick. It's almost unfair how the Patriots are constantly reloading in the draft, there's a reason they have been so successful and will most likely continue to be. Brady is 33 and won't be playing forever, and they got a magnificent talent in Mallet.

I've been very pleased with Buffalo's first three picks. They got outstanding value with each of them and all three should see significant playing time as rookies. Go Bills!!!

After drafting a quarterback and tight end, the Vikings better draft defense in all the rounds except 1 or 2 rounds where they draft offensive line

So angry at the Cowboys for drafting an ILB and a RB in rounds 2 and 3, we need defensive line help and safety help. Someone give me the money to fly down to Dallas and give Jerrah a whupping.

Yeah... I just didn't get it. With Ahmad Black, Quinton Carter still there I'd have picked one of them.

Redskins trade up

Roy Helu doh!

David Arkin is not the OG I wanted in this draft, I wanted one who could replace Kyle Kosier or Leonard Davis right away. Going to throw away a pick like that, should've just traded down or something.
