ESPN's Adam Schefter reports ex-49ers LB Reuben Foster has been claimed off waivers.

Schefter initially reported the Browns were the claiming team but quickly apologized for jumping the gun. He has been claimed, however, which is a frankly shocking development. We should know by whom shortly.

I can't remember a backlash as bad as the Redskins are getting online right now from a team signing a player (or in Foster's case picking him up off waivers). Not sure how the team didn't see this coming but they are just getting blasted from all sides.

1. I said since after 2008.

2. Aside from 2009 and 2012, we've won 6+ games each season (I know that 6 isn't great, but it's better than most of our previous seasons). Most seasons we were near .500, one way or the other. Average with most other teams.

3. Again, I know the Lions history - very well. You and I and the whole world knows about the troubled Lions past, and I'm just saying why the constant reminder/ in your face about it? It's in the past! That's like the constant reminder of Sanchez's butt fumble, or Cleveland, or whoever knows what else - it's way beyond beating a dead horse. It's old, it's irritating, and it came from a fan of a team that hasn't had any success besides last year. Unfortunate, as it may be, they are my team, and I will defend them against false statements. Perennial doormat of the past, yes, but I'm just saying that statement can't really be said of the Lions post 2008. Everyone can have their own perception, but that's reality. This year looks bad when looking at the record, but they've beaten some good teams. Coach's first year, change of team culture, but we have great front office and definitely going the right direction. And though we didn't win, the truth is playoffs last 3 out of 4 years, isn't doormat material. Give us some respect I can say the same baseless statement about Philadelphia, or Pittsburgh even (far stretch), because they have all those wins and divisions, but no recent hardware to show for it (aside from last year's miracle win).

I read the Eagles spoke with Tampa Police, and obviously didn’t put a claim in. Have fun Washington with the incoming shite storm.

Doc has his moments both good and bad, but he is getting a little long in the tooth. I do agree with a lot of the point Mitchell makes, but damn...the monstrous chip on his shoulder is tiresome.
