1 College Football League (won first)

4 NFL leagues - made playoffs in 3 out of 4, including 1 with a first round bye.

I played in a 12 team/2Qb leagues once...Once! No thank you. Just like IDP, not a big fan of either.
In our 12 team league we don’t have a dedicated TE spot as the drop off is huge after the top5. We have three WR/TE spots instead.

Now that's a good idea. Might bring that up during the offseason.

I brought up the rule back when Tony Gonzalez retired. Outside of Gates and couple others it was very slim pickings. A few of the diehards countered that it was part of the draft strategy...blah...blah...Lol. They were outnumbered.

I mean it is draft strategy, which is why I always draft TEs relatively high (drafted Kelce this year, traded him a few weeks ago). But I know there are other receivers or RBs I'd much rather play than any of the other competent-but-hardly-exceptional TEs in the league. Maybe adding a third dedicated WR slot in addition to a TE and a Flex would help. But anyway, it's a good idea to think about.

Currently 10,will most likely be 11 next year after I join

Every league I’ve ever run, I’ve always tried to place the focus on scoring. Scoring is fun. Losing points is not.
We used to play -4pts per INT, which wiped out a passing TD. To me that’s nuts. So I tried to tweak the rules to promote scoring, now it’s only -1pt for an INT/fumble. So it still costs, just not as much.
I used to play in a league that took scoring to the Nth degree. They had like over 200 ways to score points, with point plateaus and bonuses. It was IDP and I didn’t know what to root for, but it was pretty fun. Lot of 200+ point games.

The one league I run with friends and family has high scores (typically up to ~250). It's 1 QB, 2 WR, 2RB, 1 TE, and then I think 1 or 2 flex. Plus the one kicker and DEF. I do place a lot of scoring emphasis on the Defense than most other leagues.

IDP would be too much for me to keep track of on a week-to-week basis. I think D/STs are more important than people seem to think (at least in my league), but I had Chicago and still ended up not making the playoffs, so what the hell do I know lol

I only play the free yahoo leagues. Funny, a lot of regular seasons ended this week. We do 14 weeks, then play-offs. Here are my 8 teams and their standings so far...

1.8-5, 3rd
2.10-3, 1st
3.9-4, 2nd
4.10-3, 1st
5.8-5, 3rd
6.11-2, 1st
7.12-1, 1st
8.10-3, 2nd

one regular week to go. Hopefully I get some gold medals this year!
