Haven't paid attention to the draft stuff yet so I dunno how the prospects at these positions look at the moment, but I'd prefer we draft a RB or CB in the first round. I guess any secondary help would be great at this point, but I really do think we need to focus on the offensive side of the ball. Slow starts have killed us all year; at least the defense can blame the injury bug for a lot of its issues.

It's a really weak RB draft. That Bleacher Report mock is one of the only ones I've seen with an RB in the first round. There's no clear cut best back in the draft and the Eagles could probably get the 2nd or 3rd best RB in the draft with their second round pick.

Quality win for Darnold coming back in the fashion that he/they did, but the stupid Jets can't even tank right! Just you watch, something will happen again and they'll resume their typical #6 pick that has boded oh so well for them (although Jamal Adams is a beast and is the real deal).

I hate to be one of these fans, but Detroit winning yesterday made them move down at the moment from #5 to #10. At this point in the season, even though we're not eliminated, we all know the chances they make it in (and even lesser chance of them winning!), so.. why win? And if anyone paid attention to the game yesterday, a lot of players got banged up.

Very true. If Bryce Love had gone last year, he would have been a 1st rounder. But he stayed in college and had a horrible season (injuries partially). It'll be interesting to see where he goes.

Same reason I want Philly to just lose out. Yeah we're technically still "in the hunt," but who cares if we're not gonna make an actual run? And any additional game we play is just another chance for someone to get hurt badly enough that it'll affect next season.

Also, I'll go on record and say that my belief that Dallas made a horrible mistake by trading their first overall pick for Amari Cooper was clearly wrong. It has been a huge move for them and he is definitely playing well.

I get the whole "it's who you draft, not where you draft", but clearly some of these guys are Top 5 talent and will not be dropping. Immediate impact players that can start day 1 and be an upgrade to the team's play.

3-4 without him, 5-1 with him, Dak went from bottom of the barrel in passing to 22nd and our 3rd down percentage is way up. I didn't think the trade would affect us this much either. Be insane if we can win out and finish 11-5 after starting 3-5.
