Great three quarters of defense from the Birds, and the offense hummed along while occasionally resembling the best of last year. But WOW do we need to learn how to play a full 60 minutes of football. This was turning into the Carolina or Tenn. game all over again. If Foles can keep playing like this, maybe that's the spark we need to get to a first-round playoff loss.

Eagles back from the dead!

Last night sounded more like an Eagles home game than Rams. If the Bears play the Rams in the divisional round it could be an overwhelming Bears crowd. A lot of midwest transplants in California and a lot of Chicago residents could use a playoff game as an excuse to get out of Chicago's frigid January weather.

Most home games for both the LA teams seem like that, but they’re both still so new that it’s to be expected (and LA still has a strong core of Raiders fans).

It was a nice win, but even if they win out(and that’s a big IF) they would still need a lot to happen outside of their control.

For a wild card, we need to win out and we need both Minn. and Carolina to lose at least one of their remaining games. Carolina might even lose tonight, but Minn. is @ Detroit and then hosting a Chicago team that's already locked into a home playoff game. So I'm not counting on them taking another L (especially with the newfound spark to their offense). We caught a lucky break when Seattle lost yesterday.

As for us winning out, one game at a time. We're hosting Houston and they're a damn good team. Dallas sweeping us this season effectively ended our hopes of winning the division. Apparently that's still mathematically possible, but it's a pipe dream IMHO.

For whatever it's worth the Eagles seem to play better on offense with Foles under center. They did last year and certainly did so last night imo.
