He's wanted the Browns job for over a decade (he has openly lobbied for it at times over the years, and recently stated that it is the only job he'd come out of retirement for), and would keep Freddie Kitchens as OC, so yeah, I'd be fine with it. Keep Williams as DC (if he's interested, but I doubt it), or hire a new one that runs a 4-3 and I'd be totally fine with that.

Arians' health is a concern, but even if he comes aboard for a couple of seasons, he can possibly groom Kitchens to eventually succeed him.

Very slim thread of hope, but technically still not eliminated.

Pittsburgh is out.
Ravens are in.
Winner of this game gets last Wildcard spot in AFC.

Pitt can be in if they tie tonight, which would be crazy rare.

Everyone knows what happens if there’s a win.
If they tie all three teams would be 9-6-1. Ind/Ten never played Pitt so head to head can’t be used. Goes to division record, which Pitt would have the better record.

You’re right. My mistake.
A tie never crossed my mind. The word “tie” shouldn’t exist in sporting events.

Dammit. Now I have to worry about that aspect!

I'm not opposed to Arians, but I would rather keep the existing structure (except maybe a new DC). I'd be okay with McDaniels, but I don't think it'd ever happen so that's whatever. I'd love no matter what for Williams to be with Cleveland. And Kitchens, obviously.

All I want for 2019 is for these people to not be on the Dolphins:

Mike Tannenbaum
Adam Gase
Ryan Tannehill

Wouldn't mind Ross selling the team either.

The Williams HC/Kitchens OC combo is my top choice as well (5-3 in the second half of the season; they clearly looked like a completely different team after Hue & Haley were shown the door, and the results don't lie).

I'm hoping that the FO sees it that way as well, but I'm not sure they do. There's all sorts of talk on these other guys as possibilities. I guess we'll find out soon enough.

Gregg Williams’ past definitely hurts him in the big picture.

It was a good time. Brief which, when visiting in-laws, is always the desired outcome.

Baker Mayfield broke Peyton Manning and Russell Wilson's rookie record of 26 TD passes with 27.

Saquon Barkley had 91 receptions, breaking the rookie running back record of 88 set by Reggie Bush.

Tyler Lockett becomes the first receiver with at least 20% of his team's snaps to give his QB a perfect passer rating when targeted for an entire season.

Nick Foles completed 25 straight passes against Washington, tying Philip Rivers and Ryan Tannehill for the record.

Odds to win Super Bowl 53
(Courtesy of Westgate SuperBook as of Sunday night)

Saints +225

Chiefs +400

Patriots +500

Rams +500

Bears +900

Chargers +1,600

Ravens +2,000

Texans +2,500

Cowboys +2,500

Seahawks +2,500

Colts +2,500

Eagles +3,000

I don't trust the Saints. I've watched their last five games and they are losing steam by the week. They're missing the extra gear right now.

And does anyone trust the Chiefs?! I mean, history.

So, my gut says that the Bears got something going, maybe something enough to get to the Super Bowl , but probably not win it.

And yet, there are the Eagles...and I swear to God, "Foles Gold" is making me pay for a lifetime of mocking him. There's something there with him, at least with this team. They just seem sharper and more focused when he's in there.

I really don't know what the hell to think. My gut tells me it's the Patriots meeting Chicago (if not Philly) in the Super Bowl.

Bears in the Super bowl….I'll take it!

I don't trust the Saints, Rams of Chiefs....they all seem like different teams when they face a legit defense.

I hope my Bears aren't a victim of yet another Foles magical Sb run. Surely that was a one year wonder?

I mean, just look at the team when he's in there. It really is like night and day. God knows what Wentz is thinking on the sidelines.

I thought Foles was a one year wonder, too...and two teams making it to consecutive Super Bowls has only happened once (I believe), so those are crazy odds to overcome.

And, yet, I can still totally see it happening.

I'm not sure I like Brees taking two straight weeks off. I remember when Rodgers did it and the Packers got whipped.

Brees was already looking kind of tired during the last few games. Maybe the rest will do him good.
