A mother will always protect their children and want stability for them instead of jumping around from city to city. Besides, it's the media's fault she said anything with their sensational headlines. The full quote from Elway was far tamer than the media made it out to be.

Parents have no place in the business side of their child’s sport. It, inevitably, ends in a mess. These athletes pay their agents a lot of money to make them the most money. Mom and Dad aren’t doing that.
As a parent myself, I would,never fault a parent for wanting the best for their child. But posting flippant remarks on social media is not the way to go about it. Show restraint, give your child good guidance in private. That’s the parents job.

Contract extension for Big Ben. If that happens, I’m guessing there’s a very good chance Brown is dealt.
After this circus, how will Pitt have any leverage in negotiations?

I wish my team wasn't the very last game...but if the Bears pull the win, they play again next Saturday night, so 2 playoff games in one week...after what feels like an eternity of being garbage in the North.

Extension? They should be looking for his replacement at this point, or they'll end up being the next Giants.

His contract is up after next season. This might be a “2birds” move. Get Ben’s number down so they can manage the hit moving Brown will cost. Would probably give Pitt a little more leverage in talks.
Will be very interesting to see as March is just around the corner.

Pittsburgh already has his potential replacement in Mason Rudolph. How that works out is another question, but we won't find out until Ben is gone.
