The commentary by TV announcers has gotten so much more technical. They have so much more information about players, formations, schemes, and statistics, but the play-by-play has really declined. I remember when it was more play-by-play announcer getting you pumped up and less commentary. Whenever I listen to a game on the radio, I am reminded of when TV used to have announcers like that. So much energy. TV announcers sound sedated by comparison.

ABC only gets ONE game a year in the NFL season and it almost always sucks. Kind of feel bad for them.

Off-track here a little, but my vote for Worst Commercial during these games is the State Farm ones with Aaron Rodgers and the obnoxious d-bag agent.

Couldn't he just go back to doing the "Discount Double Check"?

Watson wilted. Not surprised.
He’s a great runner. Pocket passer, even with Hopkins, not so much.

Calling it now, Colts are going to be monsters next year. Could have both Bell and Brown.

The first commercial was great, then it went all downhill from there.

I can see Brown but not Bell. Why pay that price tag when you have Marlon Mack who is more than serviceable at a fraction of the cost.

Simply put Bell is elite and Mack might be.
The Colts, I believe, have ~$60mil in cap space. Bell and Brown would take ~2/3 of that.
Luck, Bell, Mack, Brown, Hilton, Ebron, 2 second year players coming off All Pro and Frank Reich.
I’m a little dreamy about that possible scenario.

Lol, when you subtract the teams that already have an elte RB, and then subtract the teams that are a dumpster fire(Jets for example) meaning not playoff ready, and then add the teams that can afford Bell...AND teams that Bell would actually play for, the list is pretty slim.
Can’t wait to see how it all unfolds!

He’s looking for the biggest payday so teams like the Jets who you just jabbed will be the one to sign Bell.

Why is Bell maligned? Because he sat out a year in an effort to secure a better financial future? Brown is much worse than Bell imo
