Nice conclusion you made there

See ChadFL post for what I meant.

those hall of famers, they weren't very good then
or maybe their defense gave up too many points and they had to win it in the 4th

lol what you're really trying to say is Tim Tebow's 4th quarter comebacks are overrated

Tebow forgives you

Remember I may be a Cowboys fan but I am no longer a huge Romo fan
Romo -
2508 yards, 16 touchdowns, 7 INTs, 97.7 QBR
Tebow -
709 yards, 7 TDs, 1 INT, 78.4 QBR
Cowboys - 5 and 4
Broncos 5 and 5
Could be fun to wait and see which team finishes with the better record

Billick would not I think, you need a coach who's going to whip Vick into shape and fix your defensive issues. Rob Ryan would probably be a good choice there but I hope it doesn't happen. I see Reid fired after the season, hopefully they go after someone else, like Wade Phillips or Dom Capers.

Sooner or later Les Miles is going to want to come to the NFL, I wonder if the Eagles would be willing to throw a bone at him?

I just cannot see Les Miles being a successful NFL head coach. He'd probably be a washout in the NFL and go right back to college. If he's smart he stays at LSU.

I figured with all the Tebow talk on this thread I'd throw my hat in the ring (and it's a nice distraction from the Browns ).

Tebow's throwing woes are obvious but I don't believe it's too late for this kid. Continuing the way he has will lead to his demise as an NFL QB...his completion percentage tell us that. His scrambling ability and will to win are keeping his head above water right now but that can't last. He requires a left handed QB coach with similar skills who threw for a high completion percentage. If I were in the Bronco's Head Office I'd be offering Steve Young whatever he wanted to come in and mentor this kid. Steve's a HOF'er who was the NFL's best scrambling QB when he played and threw for thousands of yards...just sayin'.

Tebow will win the Super Bowl multiple times and they will rename it to Tebowl in his honor.

I'm not sure if that can just be taught this late though. Steve Young played his college ball in LaVell Edwards's legendary high-powered BYU program in college where he threw for a ton of yards and TD's. Young was already an accomplished passer by the time he made the pros, unlike Tebow.

Agreed Chad, Steve was an accomplished passer at BYU. I just find it hard to believe that a 24 year old kid is a hopeless cause when it comes to the mechanics and touch required to be a successful passer in this league, if someone like Young is guiding him. Young played the same way and is a southpaw like Tebow. If anyone can help him, it's Steve Young.

I honestly don't care how this all transpires. I don't like the Broncos (still bitter from our 3 AFC Title losses to them ). Just thought I'd throw it out there and see what others think of a Tebow, Young collaboration.

I'm not mad? I like Tebow All i'm saying is once defenses adjust to the Broncos running scheme, they'll have no where to go without an accurate passer, i'm just saying, we all saw how long it lasted for Miami and the wildcat

If he wins another title at LSU this year, I'd imagine he'd be ready for a new challenge. What bigger challenge than seeing what he can do in the NFL?

Maybe his jock strap isn't the only thing he is sniffing...

So I was thinking today, does a Vince Young and Tim Tebow comparison make sense? Young has a 30-17 record as a starting QB, so he is a "winner" like Tebow(5-3) has been. They can also both make similar "clutch plays" by running the ball, though different types of runners. Both have an unconventional throwing motion(Tebow may have cleaned his up a bit?). Also, neither was wanted as a starter at the beginning of the season. Maybe a dumb comparison, but I guess what I am getting at is that Tebow is a Vince Young caliber QB. Thing is, while nobody thinks much of Young, Tebow is praised by many. Thoughts?

Just to be clear, I am not saying that their ability to scramble makes them the same QB. I wouldn't compare Tim Tebow or Vince Young with Michael Vick or Cam Newton.

The Redskins may be forced to start undrafted rookie Willie Smith at right tackle in Sunday's game against the Cowboys.
It's a scary situation with Rex Grossman at quarterback, and DeMarcus Ware and Anthony Spencer on the other team. RT Jammal Brown hinted Friday that his groin is torn. "It ain’t really about sucking it up," Brown said. "If you’ve got a tear, you’ve got a tear." The Cowboys' defense is a recommended Week 11 play.
