Brady was smart and turned his head there for even in replay it looked like the mask had been touched which by definition is Roughing the passer. The Refs didnt beat the Chiefs a shitty first half did. The team that should be *****ing is the Saints.

I thought the NFL had changed the overtime rules in the playoffs so each team at least gets the ball 1x no matter the outcome of the first drive??

Roger Goodell actually has the power to force the Rams and Saints to replay the game from 1:49 remaining.

Rule 17. Section 2. Article 3

This would be hilarious.

Maybe Madden NFL 19 can do an update that allows you to:

* Play as the Saints at the exact point of the blown DPI call and try to change the result.

* Play as the Rams at the exact point of the blown face mask call and try for a touchdown on 1st & goal at the 1-yard-line.

* Start overtime as the Saints with the ball and you just have to score a touchdown to advance to the Super Bowl.

If the first team scores on the opening drive, whatever that may be, let the other team get a chance to touch the ball.
Yet the Rams were able to win despite losing the coin toss.

They can still play defense. Chiefs only have themselves to blame for not stopping them once on third down in OT.

What about defense? Don’t want to lose the game? Stop them.

But sports is supposed to be fun.
Thats why the rule changes favor offense cause more pts = more fun.
Having 1 team not get the ball is not fun.

Nope, both teams get to possess the ball unless the first drive ends in a TD or a safety.

Chiefs D is trash, it's their fault. Not trying to bash, I wanted Andy Reid to win. But if your defense can't hold up for ONE drive to stop a touchdown, that's on you.

I have to wonder if people, and various news articles would be arguing for Brady, and the Pats to get the ball had the Chiefs won the coin toss and scored a TD first. Some artciles are making it seem like a coin flip was the deciding factor here. Uhhh no it wasn't. Football is a game of offense and defense. Where was the Chiefs defense? They allowed three 3rd and 10 conversions in OT. That's embarrassing, and not how you win a game.

Then why did they change the rule so a fg doesnt win 1st drive ??

It shows they are caving.

We will see at march meetings what momentum there is for both teams - i hope there is.

I don’t think the NFL is losing very many fans judging by the TV ratings and profit they are churning out.
