Reminded me of that 1 long run Westbrook had against us years ago when he pulled up at the 1 and stopped in his tracks. Why didn't he score? To help his team run out the clock of course.

I'm up by 10 points despite a goose egg from Greg Jennings and all my opponent has is Thomas Jones so I'm expecting to win comfortably especially with Palko at QB for the Chiefs.

Yeah I know the Giants weren't gonna score, just telling you why he did it. Doesn't have to make sense to us to make sense to the guy carrying the ball. Lot of QBs getting injured this year, could well have a huge impact on division standings and who wins the Super Bowl.

Vince Young completed 23-of-36 passes for 258 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions in Sunday's 17-10 win over the Giants.
Young had a quiet night on the ground, rushing six times for five yards. Young mostly struggled for the game's first three quarters, with two of his picks coming on badly under-thrown balls. He came alive in the fourth, however, capping off an 18-play, 80-yard, 8:51 march with what prove be a game-winning, eight-yard touchdown to Riley Cooper. With his first-game jitters now out of the way, Young should be much better if called on to make another start against the Patriots' 32nd ranked pass defense in Week 12.

I think he wanted to score..... the defense had an angle on him, and he just ran out of gas.

Young already garnered 40%+ of his wins on 4th quarter drives, he was doing the "play badly all game and win in the 4th" thing long before Tebow was.

Detroit has a shot, they're at home, they have the offensive weapons to go score for score with Green Bay and their defense will be able to pressure Rodgers with just 4, leaving the other 7 to drop back in coverage. Thing is even if Detroit sweeps Green Bay they still won't win the division and they might even miss the play-offs.
