OK then get rid of the blackout bullshit, in 2019 there is no reason to have any blackouts. These sports leagues are so bassackwards its not even funny. Fans pay enough players make to much but hey dont sell X number of home tickets = blackout. Think the leagues really dont see just how unhappy fans are becoming.

The NFL hasn't blacked out a game since 2013 and essentially got rid of the blackout rule in 2015 when they suspended the blackout rule. They haven't officially ended the blackout rule, but they haven't reinstated the blackout rule since then.

I didn't realize it had been so long since the blackout last happened. I was used to not watching Detroit on TV (back when I lived in Toledo and lived within the 75-mile radius of Detroit), so that's what still lingers. But since I had moved in 2014 out of that area, it hasn't been a factor.

I remember back in the day that the Raiders games used to be blacked out here pretty regularly, don't remember the last time that happened though, years probably

Yeah, I can’t tell you when I last saw a blackout. NFL essentially eliminated them already.

I'm thinking the last blacked out game was the San Diego Chargers as they never can fill a stadium with their own fans.

I feel like 1-2 times per year, CBS chooses not to air a Ravens game in the DMV area, but I don't have any data to back that up. Just going off memory/my cousin complaining about it (he does that a lot so I rarely pay attention lol).

I remember Cowboys fans in the 70's having TV antennas on very tall poles, so they could get games blacked out here, but broadcast in a distant city, outside the balckout area.

Underwhelming game to start off the season, but Rodgers might pull off another second-half miracle like he did last season.

As long as it's not the Cowboys on SNF I'm good. I love my team but tired of them being on SNF to open the season or anytime for that matter. I know they weren't last year either. I would love to live in a world where all their games were at 1pm every Sunday but I don't.
