That story is incomplete. They want to keep him at QB for 2 more years, then switch him to wide receiver, kicker, punter and free safety.

Keeping Eli makes sense. It's not like they are a team that just needs to replace their quarterback and all of a sudden they are Super Bowl contenders (especially with OBJ leaving). They're better off drafting a QB and having him sit under Eli for a year or two, most likely resulting in some awful seasons. The plus side.... they pick up a couple more top ten 1st rd picks.

The rest of the NFC East should be happy though, they get to see this for a couple more years......

I was really hoping for success unlike those that immediately wrote it off. But they really screwed up on a lot of things.

I blinked and missed it! Kept on meaning to tune in, but always got side tracked.
NFL is just way too big. There are way too many other sporting options going on for off brands to work in the US. Upcoming XFL part II will probably face a smiliar fate.
People just don’t have the time or money to invest in this.

These upstart leagues will never work. People's sport circadian rhythms are just too ingrained at this point.

I wouldnt be surprised if Vince held a draft for the XFL out of AAF players and college prospects that didnt get drafted he would be smart to do so especially with the unsigned free agents out there as well IE Dez
