Won the division twice?

I hate me some Cowboys but when guys like Tannehill can get paid, Dak certainly deserves to.

The problem is that is you always pay above talent for an established young QB starter. Is he worth it? Hell no. But someone will give it to him if not the Cowboys so if they want to keep him that's what it will cost them to do so.

That's Kyle Rudolph, Vikings tight end. He's 6' 6" and looks tiny next to Shaq. Sir Charles is looking more like a basketball.

That is...if this leak is even real :

Note that there's no "all-white" combo which is a HUGE misstep as the fans love that combo.

I like this Jets look:

Default Tony Romo leaving CBS to rejoin the Dallas Cowboys

by Steven Mullenax at The Landry Hat.com

The last time Tony Romo was on a football field as the quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys was January 1, 2017. Since then, the 14-year veteran passer has transitioned to a massively successful broadcasting career as a color commentator for CBS. But it was recently reported that Romo’s representatives were looking for a contract extension for a record $10 million a year.

Romo is currently in the midst of a three-year deal with CBS that pays him $4 million a year and runs through the end of the 2019 NFL season. The idea was floated that the former quarterback may decide to walk away from the booth completely if he didn’t receive a new extended contract. And now, that appears to be the case.

According to an unnamed source, Romo and the Cowboys have had discussions for several weeks about a possible return to the team. While many seem to believe he’d return to Dallas eventually as a coach, rumors actually point to him returning as a player.

This is exactly what happened with tight end Jason Witten back in February. The 36-year old Witten retired from the NFL last May after being offered the color commentary seat on ESPN’s legendary Monday Night Football broadcast. But after receiving heavy criticism for his performance in the booth last season, Witten elected to unretire and rejoin the Cowboys as a player.

Now it appears Romo will follow the same path as Witten. If the rumors are true, and the 38-year old is indeed rejoining the Cowboys as a quarterback, how does his presence impact the starting role? And more specifically the future of passer Dak Prescott, who is entering the final season of his rookie contract in Dallas.

Watching ESPN with closed captioning at the gym. They were talking about Antonio Brown and somehow the CC turned him into Adrian Beltre.

Oh man, I can only hope this is true. I knew Jerruh has been blowing spit bubbles for a number of years now, but this drops Jim way down to a Dan Snyder Fantasy Football level of meddling.
My guess is Jerruh is using Romo to get Daks deal lowered and Romo is using Jerruh to get his network deal raised. Anything short of this is complete lunacy.

Snowball's chance in hell any of that Romo nonsense actually happens.

And if that's really how Dallas is trying to negotiate with Dak, he and his agent should call that bluff lol

Yeah, Dak would be smart to make them tag him if that’s how they want to play it.

The Romo story is an April Fool's Day joke, not a real article.

Not too exciting but the NFL released the preseason schedule today. Assuming they stick to their normal timing the regular season schedule should be released next week, with a high likelihood it will be announced Thursday, April 18.
