The league is planning a big celebration next September to celebrate its 100th season.
Yep, as much as some folks don’t like to acknowledge it, the NFL has been around for almost 100 years.

It's an artificial deadline created by Wilson, not a real deadline. His agent and the Seahawks could still come to a deal in training camp if Wilson actually wants to stay. The rumors are Wilson wants to go to the Giants because being in New York would be better for his wife's career. If that's the case the Seahawks can franchise him twice and let him leave after the 2021 season or trade him for a huge haul. The Seahwks are still in a position of power thanks to the franchise tag.

Hoping against hope that Carson takes something relatively team-friendly. The numbers these QBs are getting just aren't sustainable.

A little surprised it's just a normal contract. Granted he becomes the highest-paid player in history, but people were talking about Russ getting some sort of precedent-setting contract, either by getting a set percentage of the cap or a four or five year fully-guaranteed deal. Instead it's a pretty standard (albeit very lucrative) five-year deal that's really a three-year deal followed by two team options.

The one lone bright spot of him getting injured in 2017 was it will probably save Philly some money. Had he stayed healthy it was a lock he would’ve won MVP and probably a title. I just hope he gets a very good deal, but just with incentives to protect against injury.
If Harper can take a bit of discount, hopefully Wentz can too!

I was at the game in Cleveland when BabyGoat made his debut and Cleveland won for the firs time in awhile. Maybe I'll watch him take on the Jets again.. nope, actually it's being played in NJ. Shucks.
