I want Juan Thornhill but I imagine we would have to move up to get him.

When you're happy or pissed about a player being drafted by your team, is it because you actually know about that player and have watched him -- and other players at the same position -- play, or are you basing it all on meaningless mock drafts done by people who have no idea what's being said behind closed doors?

Last year I came across a YouTube channel where two guys made a video for every single pick in the draft. And you could tell their entire knowledge and opinion of these players came from reading mock drafts.

I'm basing my opinion of Thornhill on the fact that he's one of the best safety prospects in this draft and Jeff Heath is basically Bill Bates II.

That had to be agonizing. At least in a straight game bet, the clock ticks down relatively quickly.

When jones went 6 to nyg thought it was in the bag.

Knew id have to wait till end though but that trade back in never went down.

Well we drafted DLs with our 2nd and 3rd rounders last year and they played like promising rookies. Looks like we’re sticking with them.
Apparently Ferrell fits our scheme the best. I don’t watch a ton of college football so i only know our needs and the “Best Available” rankings. With that said the two top corners are sitting there and we have the third overall pick tonight.

Miami gives the 48th overall pick to Arizona for Rosen.

AFC East gonna be three QBs from the top 10 of 2018's draft class... and Tom Brady.

Jeff Darlington of ESPN seems to have some doubts about Rosen to Miami (at least for the reported second-round pick), and Darlington is pretty plugged in with the Dolphins:

I’d be surprised if the Dolphins give up their second-round pick for Rosen without the deal including something else. Plans change — but that hasn’t been the plan. And to this point… Miami has been sticking very close to their plan, as I’d previously heard it, in every regard.

It absolutely did feel yesterday before the draft that Rosen would end up in Miami. My wonder is… Will Dolphins’ new perceived leverage based on yesterday’s 1st round (and Arizona’s maintained hard stance) cause a widened gap in negotiations that causes a breakdown? Clock ticks.
