Should be interesting to see how the league handles this, presumably after his 6/13 court date. Video looks pretty...ugly.
Plot twist: Crawford has spearheaded a program to help the community and law enforcement play nice...but took a few swings at cops during the fight.

When I lost my father to cancer, several years ago, it was polarizing but a little humor here and there helped with the healing process.

Jets have fired GM Mike Maccagnan and VP of Player Personnel Brian Heimerdinger, league sources told @jeffdarlington and me. Maccagnan had two years left on his contract.

Jets are in position to have strong season thanks to Maccagnan and Heimerdinger.

WHOA! I had heard rumors and he was definitely on the hot seat, but dang. This not entirely a bad thing IMO.

Mac's had some nice picks over the years but they were due to good players falling right into his lap at the top of the draft (Jamal Adams, Leonard Williams to name a few), but picks in other rounds have been abysmal (Christian Hackenberg anyone?). It was due but it should have happened with Bowles.

Rumor is PHI's VP of Player Personnel is close to Gase (they worked together in CHI) and has been discussed in league circles as the next potential GM of the NYJ (per Adam Schefter).

Gonna miss Joe Douglas if it happens. He’s been solid since he arrived. Will be curious to see how he handles being a GM, as he’s always been the #2 guy. In Baltimore under Ozzie and then Philly under Howie, with a brief stop in Chicago.
